1997 Brickyard 400 Festival Camaro Low Miles, Low Production Convertible Pace Car! I am selling my 1997 Chevy z/28 Convertible 30th Anniversary Camaro. This car is a real Indianapolis Motor Speedway Brickyard 400 Festival Pace Car – OPTION Z4C! Real miles: 71942! I searched the webs and found on the following website that a listing of VINs was published by WWCC (World Wide Camaro Club in their May/June Camaro Enthusiast Magazine). Only 50 cars were built and the last 3 digits of the VINs are all below 80. The last two digits are 15, 16, 20-22,24,26,28-33,35-37, 39-50, 52,54-57,59-63, 65-70,72-73,75,78,79,80. (www.yenko.net). I just saw this article that was quoted sell on eBay mid-August (Item number 300765589201), so the literature is still out there. The only change that I have found from stock is that the houndstooth seat inserts have been replaced with orange leather. Personally, I always thought that the 97 houndstooth wasn’t as nice as the 69 houndstooth – so I prefer the change. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of companies that sell the correct seat covers on eBay. I have a CarFax on this car that I can scan and e-mail to you upon request.
