I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. The Jeep Cherokee is one of the most well known SUV's in the world. Throughout it's entire production, the Cherokee remained mostly unchanged. It's simplicity, reliability and capability make it a very desirable vehicle. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The green finish shows well for an older truck. There is a dent on the front of the left fender and the center of the front bumper. Otherwise, the body is pretty good. I did not see any rust on the body. There is a small hole in the right floor pan (check your local inspection laws to see if that is an issue in your state). The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber. The tires show average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. I would also rate the interior of this Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this Jeep. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show some stains associated with age and mileage but are not excessively worn. The seats are the same way...there are some stains but none of the seats are excessively worn. An afternoon of cleaning would probably make a big difference. The headliner sags a little which is a normal Jeep thing. The dash is clean. The power windows and locks work properly. This Jeep is equipped with an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry which works properly. The original radio has been upgraded with an Alpine CD player which sounds good. The heater appears to be working properly. The fan speed switch feels a little sloppy but the fan does work. The air conditioning will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The reliable 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see anything leaking under this Jeep and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. Its road manners are very good. The engine makes great power as it should. It keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. I've spent a few days driving this Jeep around. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. It has a good PA inspection through the fall of this year and was a NEW JEEP TRADE from Stetler Dodge/Jeep right here in York, PA. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. An afternoon of cleaning would probably make a big difference. The headliner sags a little which is a normal Jeep thing. The dash is clean. The power windows and locks work properly. This Jeep is equipped with an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry which works properly. The original radio has been upgraded with an Alpine CD player which sounds good. The heater appears to be working properly. The fan speed switch feels a little sloppy but the fan does work. The air conditioning will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The reliable 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see anything leaking under this Jeep and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. Its road manners are very good. The engine makes great power as it should. It keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. I've spent a few days driving this Jeep around. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
