Up for Auction is a Black/White 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with a 4.6 liter V-8. Starting bid for this vehicle will be $2200.00, and the bidding will conclude seven days from start of auction. The Vehicle’s odometer is not visible at this time, and last odometer reading was 108140 on 01-18-13, while it was getting serviced by Ford dealership. The vehicle has ABS light on, which was diagnosed by Ford as needing the ABS computer and a front left speed sensor. We will not be repairing ABS system. Normal, non-ABS system braking is not affected. Vehicle had a used transmission installed on 09-26-11. This is a retired Police patrol squad that was maintained and serviced on a regular basis, and is now surplus property up for auction. The vehicle starts and is operational, and photos depict the body condition, which includes some minor body scratches, scuffs, and dents. The driver seat is ripped, the passenger seat appears in good condition, and the rear seat was never used, as it had a fiberglass seat installed while in service. The vehicle does have power windows and door locks and a dark charcoal interior. The heat and A/C is totally functional. No additional inspection or service will be performed on this vehicle. Ford motor company builds the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor for heavy duty use with heavy duty suspension. The vehicle may be viewed in person (APPOINTMENT, ONLY) by contacting the East Dundee Police Department at 847-428-4034, Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Ask to speak with either Lieutenant Mike Blahnik or Officer Arturo Gracia.
