This is a Willys Jeep that came from Arizona. The frame and body seem to be in great shape. The engine and transmission were added in Arizona but the project never got finished. It came to Wisconsin in 2005 and was driven by the new owner. The new owner disassembled and had the Willys painted. I think he said it was a Navy gray. It then sat until I purchased it and put it together to get it operational. The Willys body has a 2" body lift. The Chevy 305 motor sounds good. The transmission shifts good. I was told by my Chevy nut friend, it is a Turbo 400 automatic. I was told the engine and transmission came out of a Camaro. I put in a new master cylinder and brake shoes, new front pinion seal, 2 rear drive shaft U joints, new gas line. New Monroe shocks.The headers have a muffler installed in the side pipes. This vehicle is being sold as is, so please ask questions. Remember this was a project started by 2 different people so I may have missed some things. I really do value my 100% rating as you can see. I thank the people that are asking questions because there are things I have missed. As you can see I have updated the pictures and remember this vehicle is over 60 years old. The vacuum wiper motor is in a box not installed. I have no idea of the milage. I drove it a couple miles. The gauges look to be orignal which I feel should be replaced along with an updated dash. The information tag on the CJ is gone or I just don't know where to look. I looked inside the CJ and under the hood.The WISCONSIN Title VIN number is AZ5xxxx. This looks to be a vin number the state of Arizona gave to the vehicle' starting with the letter AZ5xxx. There is an 11 digit title number and a 11 digit product number also on the title. Year 1951.
