ORDER YOURS TODAY!* IN STOCK AND READY FOR DELIVERY 1965 FASTBACK CONVERSION AND 1967 FASTBACK CONVERSION The Mustang Fastback clone shells are the perfect beginning to build a restomod, Eleanor Style or GT-500 Clone project. The shells start as a Mustang Coupe. The car is completely disassembled! All rusted and damaged parts are removed and up to 70% of the stock body panels are replaced with Dynacorn reproduction sheet metal. The shell is then put on a rotisserie and media blasted. Dynacorn doors, door hinges, roof, full fastback quarter panels, trunk lid and new style spring loaded trunk hinges are professionally installed to convert the coupe into a fastback! Custom made inner-structure panels are installed which have been engineered for superior strength and rigidity so there is less body flex. There are also two roof supports installed for additional support. This is something Ford Motor Company should have done from the beginning! All of the factory fold down seat brackets, trap door housing and interior panel brackets are installed for a stock fastback interior. Once construction is complete the shell is epoxy coated inside and out. This insures a rust free life for your vehicle. There are over a 100 conversions that have been completed. With this history, experience and quality you will receive the best fastback conversion available in today’s market! The conversions are built with such integrity and quality that from the exterior of the car you cannot tell it was once a coupe! Sold worldwide. The factory fastbacks have become so rare and expensive that this is the best solution at absolutely the most reasonable price. Limited time only at this price! We ship world wide. A; Unlike the Dynacorn shell the car still retains the original vin number and clean title from the coupe donor car. There are no registration problems. Q; What about finding replacement parts, interior panels and glass? A; All major Mustang supply parts houses carry everything you need to build the shell and many companies offer updated mods to make your car into a muscle performance machine! You can buy all new parts and not having to use old parts! Q; Can you tell by looking at the car it use to be a coupe? A; No not from the outside, sitting side by side an expert could not tell unless you look at the vin, title or look at the modified inner steel structures. From Ford there was only 1 roof support and the conversions have 2 roof supports and there is a structural support that connects from the inner door jam to the inner wheel house. The original Mustangs did not have this. There are structural supports from the inner wheel house to the roof. These are stronger than what Ford manufactured. This will help overall with less body stress and flex. If your building a performance car this is important. On the web site there are interior pictures that show the difference. The old Camaros , Nova’s and Chevelle’s had the supports but what was Ford thinking? Q; Can you convert my own coupe? A; This can be done if you send us the car with every part stripped off the car, take out all the glass, interior, lights, molding and suspension front and rear. The car must be put on a dolly so it can be loaded on a transport. The cost may not be the same to convert your car because if there is extensive damage you will be charged for it. Example if your shock towers, sub frame or other major supports have rust damage this could affect the final cost. Also when you figure in the transport cost it will be cheaper to buy the conversion Mustang all ready done. You get it and you’re ready to start bolting your new parts on it! Q: When you build the shell can you do some extra modifications to the car? A; Yes if you want shock towers to accommodate a larger motor , sub frame connectors, suspension, or other modifications this can be done. Anything can be done. Q; What does shipping cost to go to Fort Meyers, Florida? A; Google car transport and there are many sites that offer all in one multiple quotes from different companies. This will give you a cost. We work with a company that will beat competitor’s prices up to $300 cheaper. Recently a car was shipped to that area for $850 but with the unstable gas prices if could affect transport cost in the future. Q; How many of these conversions have been built? A; Over 100 have been built. This does not include the Eleanor Style or Shelby Mustangs. The experience is priceless and the quality is excellent! To read about this it’s hard to imagine how this is possible but to witness this in person it looks like a new factory fastback! We have to laugh at all the people that mock this and the Dynacorn shell but when they see it they’re not laughing anymore. It’s the future. With the price of factory fastbacks and the lack of project cars this is the ideal solution. You can find project fastbacks for $8,000-$12,000 and they’re full of rust and damaged panels this is a much better option! To fix one of the project cars you will have over $15,000 into the body. Get the idea? Q; Is it possible on the Eleanor’s to build them with a larger motor that has 500 horse power or more? And can you change the body style and do other different custom options? A; Show me the money honey and anything can be built! Q; I was on your DesertClassicMustangs web site and on your Future Mustang page you have an Extreme Mustang project. Is it a rumor or fact that you’re developing an old style fastback mustang (not for strip or drag) that reaches 0-60 mph is less than 4 seconds? A; …………………….. The rumor is that you can afford one. It’s already been proven and can be done, 2 different motors will be offered, the first has 300 horse power, 0-60 estimated 3.6 seconds with an estimated 1,000 ft. lbs. of torque and the second motor is approximate 650 horse power, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and estimated 2,000 ft. lbs of torque. Now put your eyeballs back into their sockets because this will set you back a minimum of a $100,000 and the larger motor will be around $120,000. The rumor is that you can afford one. No other details can be released at this time. You’re on a need to know basis. Q; If I send you my convertible Mustang can you restore it. It has a couple of the sub frames that have rust and need to be replaced. I can restore the car to a certain point but I’m worried if I don’t put the new sub frame in the correct place it will throw things off. A; The car is placed on a frame machine so everything aligns. Using templates and measurements new parts are installed like factory. When the conversions are built it’s done exactly the same way so everything aligns. People don’t realize it but there is no difference between the coupes and fastbacks, the wheel houses and the door jams are in the identical place. So the coupe quarter panel and the fastback quarter panel weld to the same areas. Q; When your building the conversions and you find a rusted damaged area do you patch it or replace the panel. A; No corners are cut, the whole panel is replaced. When the floor pan is bad it is cut out and replaced with a convertible floor pan and the seat platforms are 1 piece. The pan and seat platform combination make the structure stronger. In some areas if a small hole or 2 is found then that is properly welded. Q: Is the converted car full of bondo? A; Bondo is used in the four corners of the roof. Like factory the roof is welded in 2 areas where it meets the quarter panel and also at the top of the windshield pillars. The factory spot welded these areas and then filled them with lead and bondo. There is also bondo where the quarter panel meets the filler panel below the bottom of the rear glass. It is very minor and not to lose any sleep over it. Q; Is the conversion paint ready? A; Very close. After the car has been media blasted a black epoxy coating is sprayed everywhere to protect the car from rust .Bottom side, inside and outside. The body will need a light sanding and checking the body gaps it is ready for paint. Q; Does the car come with fenders and a hood? A; There is an additional cost for the parts. To complete the body you will need a hood, front and rear valance, fenders and headlight buckets. These can be installed for and an additional charge. There are different hoods that can be ordered, a flat hood or the turn signal hood. These don’t come with the car because they are inexpensive to purchase and easy to install. The price of the conversion is affordable but if you want the extra parts installed that is not a problem. Q: Since there is no suspension is the frame still there? A; Yes the original sub frame is still there and if it’s rusted or damaged is it replaced with new parts. Casters are installed so you can move the car around. The parts are bolted in so when you’re ready to install your suspension you can unbolt the casters and install your parts. Q; Why don’t you supply the car with suspension and wheels? A; The original suspension is old school and most people will want to update the rear end with a 9” and do a 4 link suspension and disc brakes and for the front there are so many options. When the cars are taken apart everything on the bottom side is removed so the entire area can be media blasted and all rusted or damaged panels can be replaced. Putting the old parts on would defeat the purpose and increase the labor charge. If you want new suspension anything can be done. Q; Do you have any factory fastbacks? A; Yes, we have 3 at this time that need total restoration. See the info on the web site for more info. We also refurbish other body shells from Cuda, Camaro, Pantera , Firebird , Chevelle and others ** If shell ships within the U.S.A. we will install a roller frame under the shell for easy transport. There will be an additional charge of $350.00 for this service** **We can help you with shipping quotes** *We have a location in Arizona where shells can be picked up. - These are pick up center ONLY - We DO NOT GIVE shop tours. Sorry!! *If there is not is stock, please allow 6-8 weeks for your order to be processed Payment Methods: Bank wire. This is how the conversion from coupe to fastback is done. A coupe is stripped of wiring from the fuse block to the rear. Front and rear glass removed. All chrome trim removed. Rear tail lights are removed. Rear bumper removed. Complete interior removed. Gas tank removed. Car is then power washed and inspected for rust or damage. New panels are replaced in the damaged areas. Most of the cars have new battery aprons because of battery acid. Most of the cars have new radiator supports due to them leaking and causing rust. Cars are then placed on a jig frame machine and the car is braced with supports. Roof, quarter panels and trunk lid - removed. If the rear tail light panel has rust or damage it is replaced. Once the quarter panels are removed the outer wheel houses are checked and replaced if rusted. New roof, quarter panels are placed on, test fitted using templates and jigs, along with the back window. Then all panels are welded on better than factory specs. New studs are installed for window moldings. All new brackets are installed so all the rear interior panels can be installed. There are inner panels welded from the inner wheel house to the door jam. Ford never put supports in this area. There are 2 roof supports , factory only had one. These inner supports are added to make the body structure stronger than factory. A trap door housing is installed but no trap door is included. All brackets for the rear seat are installed. A fixed or fold down seat can be used with these brackets. Both inner side panels are welded on for the external side vents. No external side vents come with the car. 1965- 1968 cars can be built. The body is then painted with a sealer so it will prevent rust. The body is sold with a vin and title. The vin and title may say Ford Mustang or Ford Coupe None of the original parts are reinstalled. Cars do not have motors, transmissions, interiors or gas tanks or any other parts included. When the body shell is finished you are unable to tell it was formerly a coupe unless you see the modified inside bracing. _________________________________________________________________________________________ REFURBISHED ROTISSERIE MUSTANGS The mustang is stripped of all parts, every nut and bolt and all suspension parts.
