This car has the 1.6L, fuel efficient 4 cylinder engine that built Toyota’s reputation for longevity. Paired with that engine is a 5-speed manual transmission that is also known for longevity and fuel economy. These Corollas have been The Car to get for commuters and first time car buyers forever and they are getting hard to find. As you can see in the pictures, the dark red paint shows well for the age. It has some of the usual blemishes and fading, but overall is better than average. All the lights and glass are in good shape. The rear hatch opens easily and stays open like it should. The interior is likewise in good condition. The Toyota grey interior is made of durable, stain resistant fabric. There are no holes in the seats or carpets. The rear seats can fold flat to make for a large cargo area. The stereo works. The windows crank up and down easily. The locks work. This car has a working pair of cup holders, something you don’t often find in older Japanese cars. Mechanically, this Corolla runs well, as you would expect a low mile Toyota to run. It is equipped with Toyota’s 4A-FE four cylinder engine. This is a peppy little engine and will move this car around well. The transmission shifts easily. The steering is straight. All the fluids look clean and it looks like it has had a recent oil change. This car cruises around town or on the highway with no complaints and gets excellent fuel economy. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle at retail price from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
