Vehicle Detail

Gorgeous Classic Mustang, 2-Door Coupe, 6 Cylinder, 3-Speed Hurst floor Shifter. This is your chance to own a gorgeous classic 1966 Mustang. I hate to part with it but decided to sell it to continue my college education. This Mustang was my graduation present 3 years ago. My dad spared little expense restoring it to make this pony the envy of my friends. I get compliments on the gorgeous blue paint job and Mag wheels all the time, it's really a head turner. The 6 cylinder fires right up, runs strong and offers great fuel economy. The transmission was overhauled and has a new clutch, pressure plate & throw -out bearing. The Mustang is in very good over all condition, It has been garage stored by the last 2 owners I spoke to, as well as us. From what I understand the is there is little to no filler, body panels were replaced instead of trying to repair. An inspection of the under body shows very little rust, if any, including floor pans (replaced), trunk pan, frame rails and torque boxes. The undercarriage has been undercoated as well. Despite its great condition the reserve is nowhere near very good or even good condition but the reserve is very near low retail according to NADA. The odometer reads only 46,263 miles and I believe it may be accurate based upon service records back to July 2, 1992, at that time, the Mustang only had 40,802 miles on it when it was serviced. This plus the over-all condition of the body and interior leads me to believe its accurate, although I can not be sure of this. The BAD NEWS 1. A nickle size tear at top left driver's seat back, also a 1-inch tear in drivers seat back at seam. Not so much of a tear rather that stitching came loose. 2. Stitching on headliner came loose about 12 inches. The GOOD NEWS: 1: Newer Paint. 2. Mag Wheels 3. The Mustang sports a new clutch, pressure plate & throwout bearing. The 3-speed transmission was just gone through and seals were replaced. 4. New Carpeting 5. New Gas Tank and Sendng Unit. The old gas tank is in excellent condition and is included. 6. New Starter . Newer Brake lines from the master cylinder. I will assist in shipping but it is the buyer's responsibility to make shipping arrangements. I strongly urge all buyers to schedule an inspection before bidding, as a winning bid is a contract to purchase vehicle. Buyers with zero feedback must contact seller first before bidding or their bids will be removed. Please don't assume anything, please ask questions, we want this to be a win - win transaction, with a happy buyer and seller. Good Luck bidding and thanks for looking.
