My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description and review our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 BMW 328i sedan with the desirable manual transmission. The BMW 3 Series is one of the most awarded passenger cars in the world for good reason. I would rate the exterior of this 328i to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a sharp looking car. It is finished in Calypsorot Metallic, which is one of my favorite colors offered by BMW. Overall, the finish looks great and shines up well. There are a few visible rust bubbles around the rear fenders and below the tail lights which is common with older BMW's. Additionally, there is a small dent on the hood behind the right headlight and the right fender is a poor repaint. Again, she looks good overall. Please review each of the photos carefully. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The windows are tinted all around and look great. The headlights have been replaced with aftermarket units which feature the "angel eyes" halo lights which look great. They are wired in to be on when the vehicle is running and stay on for a minute or two after turning off the car. The alloys are 16" mini-Motorsport wheels which are in great condition and show well. They are wrapped in a matching set of tires with good tread all around. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The seats show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The front two windows seem to be a fail. However, the rear windows work properly. The climate control is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. The trunk is spacious and clean. There is also a factory onboard computer. This BMW comes with one key and one remote to the factory keyless entry which still works properly. Mechanically, the BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. You can feel some age in the front suspension bushings which is normal and inexpensive to service. The rear brakes are completely new. The steering feels tight and responsive. There are a few idiot lights on. I think cleaning the rear wheel speed sensors will take care of most of them. The rear brakes were completely shot with lots of debris everywhere which tends to not play well with sensors. That is probably the cause of the ABS, Traction Control and maybe the check engine light. The engine runs smoothly and makes great power. It has been so long since I've driven one of these with a manual transmission...I forgot how fun they are. This car is much quicker than I remember them being. The engine keeps proper temperature. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. The shifter is a little stiff to move but gear changes are smooth. The muffler is a little louder than it should be and will most likely need replaced. This is quite a fun little car. With just 145k miles on the odometer, it has plenty to give its next owner. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description and review our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 BMW 328i sedan with the desirable manual transmission. The BMW 3 Series is one of the most awarded passenger cars in the world for good reason. I would rate the exterior of this 328i to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a sharp looking car. It is finished in Calypsorot Metallic, which is one of my favorite colors offered by BMW. Overall, the finish looks great and shines up well. There are a few visible rust bubbles around the rear fenders and below the tail lights which is common with older BMW's. Additionally, there is a small dent on the hood behind the right headlight and the right fender is a poor repaint. Again, she looks good overall. Please review each of the photos carefully. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The windows are tinted all around and look great. The headlights have been replaced with aftermarket units which feature the "angel eyes" halo lights which look great. They are wired in to be on when the vehicle is running and stay on for a minute or two after turning off the car. The alloys are 16" mini-Motorsport wheels which are in great condition and show well. They are wrapped in a matching set of tires with good tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The seats show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The front two windows seem to be a fail. However, the rear windows work properly. The climate control is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. The trunk is spacious and clean. There is also a factory onboard computer. This BMW comes with one key and one remote to the factory keyless entry which still works properly.
Mechanically, the BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. You can feel some age in the front suspension bushings which is normal and inexpensive to service. The rear brakes are completely new. The steering feels tight and responsive. There are a few idiot lights on. I think cleaning the rear wheel speed sensors will take care of most of them. The rear brakes were completely shot with lots of debris everywhere which tends to not play well with sensors. That is probably the cause of the ABS, Traction Control and maybe the check engine light. The engine runs smoothly and makes great power. It has been so long since I've driven one of these with a manual transmission...I forgot how fun they are. This car is much quicker than I remember them being. The engine keeps proper temperature. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. The shifter is a little stiff to move but gear changes are smooth. The muffler is a little louder than it should be and will most likely need replaced. This is quite a fun little car. With just 145k miles on the odometer, it has plenty to give its next owner. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
