the year was 1967......... Suzuki was the first japanease company to make a 500cc 2 stoke motorcycle.........they called it the 500/5 t500 and in europe it was called the Cobra this was the big one, the one they said couldnt be built, they said the motor would seize, ( it did not).....it wouldnt be reliable ( turns out the most reliable bike , suzuki ever built) the worlds 1st true superkike! it had 47 horsepower, wow a 5 speed transmission, 8 inch front brakes ....and a beautiful candy gold paint job......a swede like seat! this had a top speed of well over 100mph as you can see by the very detailed pics......this is a full resto......inside and out beautiful candy gold paint, triple plated chrome, all bolts nuts and hardware stripped and replated, aluninum professionaly buffed and polished tons of nos parts , even the seat was restored by hand by world class seat man Daryl Waller in New Zealand! the shocks are new, the signals are new, the cables are new, new badges and decals,nos handlebars and grips.....bike has the proper valaced fenders, chrome side panels and swede like seat there something you cant see, but need to be told.......completely rebuilt crank, new pistons and rings , new engin eseals, new gaskets new clutch plates, nos ig coil, new ponts and condensors,. and has the correct 34mm carbs.....connected to a nos air box with nos air boot all work done by serious vintage pros! this is a beautiful example of a true collectable Suzuki.....that has had a true track record of going up in value, every year! buy now while you still can, it will be a fine example to add to your collection! stae of ct will not title a 1968 motorcycle, but i do have a registration in my name, that i will sign over to the new buyer bike is sold as is
