The Ford Taurus has been one of the most popular and highest selling domestic vehcicles of its time. It provides buyers with a generous amount of room, reliability and features in a afordable package. This 4 door family 5 seat sedan defiantly has pep in its step. This TAURUS SEL is is equipped with a standard V-6 3.0L and 200 Horses. This sedan holds a 18 gallon gas tank and still can get up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. This Taurus is functional and enjoyable to drive. Perennially the Taurus is one of the top three passenger cars in sales. I would rate the interior of this Taurus to be in above average condition for age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows well for an older car. The dash is clean and free of cracks. The headliner is tight. Both front doors have map pockets and show well. This is the first year they added 1.2 cubic feet to the trunk to have a whopping 17 cubic feet total...That's a big trunk !!! This sedan comes with a bench seat and and a center folding console for your storage needs. The stereo is original and sounds great !!! This car is optioned with factory remote entry. Two keys and one remote included. This Taurus is also optioned with power locks, windows and mirrors...all in which seem to be in proper working condition. I would rate the exterior of this car to be in above average condition for age and mileage. As you can see this is a great looking vehicle. The Graphite Blue paint shows well over the tan interior and makes this Taurus very stylish. I am a huge fan of this paint color, personally I feel it ads sophistication to this Taurus. The conventional styling of this Taurus makes it look timeless and streamlined. There is no note worthy damage on the exterior of this Taurus. As with any used vehicle, please expect to find small scratches and imperfections associated with normal wear. This Taurus is optioned well with alloy wheels which show well. They are wrapped with a noce set of tires with average tread remaining. This is a good looking car... Mechanically I would rate this Taurus to be in good running condition. The 3.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The PA inspection is good thru the month of March. It sounds like one of the wheel bearings is starting to make some noise and will need replaced soon. This is typically a inexpensive service item. The climate control system seems to work properly, but the fan does not come on. She crusies down the highway and the transmission engages very smoothly. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
