Vehicle Detail

For auction is my 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT Replica professionally built on a stretched Fiero frame. I've been told it's one of the best looking replicas by Kit Car Magazine photographer and no one asks as it even sounds close to the real thing. ALWAYS garage kept and only one non smoking owner since all work completed just a couple years ago. It is powered by an 86' Pontiac 2.8 GT 6 cyl with only 16,400 miles since rebuild. Rebuild was done to stock specs as I wanted it to be a reliable daily drivable car vs a fast race car with never ending problems, but don't let that fool you because it is extremely quick and runs very strong. It has a larger than stock Holley throttle body, a Holley fuel pressure regulator with gauge and a Hyperchip ECM upgrade that I use sometimes and sometimes not as it idles a bit high with the chip. Maybe the timing needs to be changed with the chip? I don't know. It accelerates quickly thru the gears with an amazing authentic sound and quickly reaches my cruising speed of 85 mph, then 5th gear will continue to smoothly, but quietly accelerate with low RPM's to a top speed of approx 110 mph (and that of course was on a closed track by a professional driver :) Since the frame was stretched 11" to fit the "exact in every detail" replica body by IFG (innovative fiberglass) you could certainly fit a V12 in there or it is widely known that a 3.8 Supercharged GM engine from a Bonneville SSE, Grand Am, Grand Prix, etc will bolt right up to my existing 5 speed Getrag transmission and make this car go faster than the Lambo V12 !!!. I had no interest in that though since my 6 cyl is completely reliable and plenty fast enough. I had planned to keept forever, but injuries & surgeries prompt sale soon. This car can be driven daily if desired, but it should be a secondary car as it's not very practical for everyday use. I have gone to Home Depot more than once with it only to then remember that I cant fit the item in the car ha....Starts right up every day and runs, drives and steers like a dream. Upgraded suspension with KONI shocks. Headlights, tail lights, blinkers & flashers all work great. Between 40-60 psi oil pressure, steady 14 amp battery guage since new alternator ALL gauges work perfect and light up as well. Runs at straight up 200 degrees with a new BMW radiator with 3400 CFM puller fan which brings temp down to 180 degrees as soon as it comes on. Ice cold A/C works perfect. Heat does not work, but only needs hoses connected. I live in Florida so I never took it back to complain about heater hoses being disconnected for whatever reason? Also the only other thing not working is the windshield wiper. It has an authentic looking Lambo dual wiper, but It does not have a working wiper motor at this time. It is a newly replaced real OEM Lamborghini windshield courtesy of FL state road hazard insurance program and due to the angle of it the rain just blows right off so I never worried about getting that fixed up. The quarter glass & rear glass is also real Lamborghini as is the headlights, tail lights and front parking lights. The gauges have Lamborghini script and Bull logos on the larger ones. The interior vinyl/leather is less than 2 yrs old with only a slight rub mark on the driver seat bolster edge. The interior and dash is exactly like the real Diablo and is way too nice to tint the windows as the cars interior really seals the deal on authenticity. It has the newest & hottest looking carbon ceramic rotors and big Lambo calipers as a façade hiding the original Fiero brakes which work perfectly so I saw no need to upgrade them. Tires are all matching Hankook Ventus V12 EVO's with approx 75% tread left. 305/30/ZR19 in the rear & 215/40/ZR18 in the front (they are NOT run flats !!- never again with run flats) (4) Sony Xplod speakers, MP3/MP4 DVD/CD touch screen stereo system with built in amp. This write up for Ebay took a long time and I've never done Ebay before. I would rather sell it locally to a friend or relative as I can stand behind it's reliability, but it sold as is and will need a $1,000 (negotiable) down payment within 24 hrs of sale. Then remaining funds at pick up soon thereafter. We can that all out. Buyer responsible for shipment charges. I am in the Orlando area and the car is available to be seen and driven by proven serious buyers. I am also willing to take it to the Daytona Spring car show this weekend as I may consider selling it there as well.On Mar-20-13 at 12:15:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Revised additional payment information: I will have Pay Pal set up for $1,000.00 deposit within 24 hrs of sale. Balance due 7 days after. Bank to bank wire transfer is preferred. Checks & cashiers checks must clear to cash deposit before car is released. I have talked with a reputable truck shipper and it's approx. $800 to Texas and maybe $1,100.00 to California from here in Orlando area. Closed in trailer is recommended. Revised additional contact information: Serious buyers can call my cell- (407) 221-2480 Jeff (between 7am and 9pm EST)On Mar-20-13 at 12:30:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Also I had trouble loading a video on here as well as on you tube, but I can text the video to serious buyers from my iphone. On Mar-21-13 at 05:16:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Working on adding videos to the ad today !!! Also forgot to mention the car has ALL REAL glass !!! Also FYI car is registered and insured as an 86' Pontiac and insurance is only $400 per year for $30k coverage.. I have been told that I listed this car in the wrong category and it's hard to find. Should have listed it with "Replica/Kit Makes" but I cant change it now without ending the listing.. Serious buyers can call 407-221-2480 JeffOn Mar-21-13 at 05:45:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Wanted to explain the 210 mph speedometer pic... It was a 120 mph speedometer and the numbers were changed to 240 mph. So when your doing 210 it is really only 105 mph and each tick hash mark it exactly correct by GPS speed..
