1984 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL Only 80k miles! NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This Buick Grand National is a runner/driver! Its a REAL GN, not a clone or recreation. It fires right up and drives very well. This vehicle has been stored indoor its entire life. The engine was rebuilt in 1998, I just had the transmission rebuilt and all new components were installed. This was purchased from the original owner in 1998 with a leaking head gasket. The engine was removed and all new components were installed inside the original block and heads. While the engine was being rebuilt the car was sent off and repainted because its original black wasn't shining as it did when new. This car has never been in any accidents of any kind, absolutely no bondo was used when it was painted and every panel is original. After the car got back from the paint shop the engine was reinstalled and the car sat for twelve years. I found it being stored and have been bringing it back to life. I installed several new parts. I replaced the fuel tank, fuel filter, fuel hoses, water pump, radiator (upgraded with larger unit), thermostat, radiator hoses, upgraded with electric radiator fan, Aeromotive fuel pump, battery, and had the transmission rebuilt. I am sure that I have probably forgotten quite a few things but that's the majority. The car does run rich because of the high volume Aeromotive pump so it will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get peak performance from it. The things that need attention are as follows; the carpet needs replacing, the front seats need to be recovered, it needs the plastic filler panels that go in between the bumpers and body, the passenger window does not roll down(I believe its the switch), and the drivers side window moves around in the door. The window needs the cloth bumpers that stop it from rocking back and forth. Their may be more things it needs but all in all its a very solid car that you could fire up, drive anywhere, and restore the remaining while still being able to drive the car. The registration is good for a few more months, and the title is clean/clear from California. The vehicle is located here in Chico, Ca and can be seen anytime.
