I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. This no-frills, solid truck has a carbureted 5.8L V8 (351w) and automatic transmission. This is a 25+ year old work truck was owned as a fleet vehicle by a local business and it has clearly been properly taken care of. For the age and miles, it is in excellent condition. I bought this truck to help with a renovation project and I have had no complaints about it. As you can see in the pictures, the tan paint is in decent shape for the age. There are some nice hand painted accents, they are starting to fade. There is some minimal rust starting to form around the rear wheel arch. The bed is solid; however, it is dirty and dinged up. The tailgate opens and closes easily and latches properly. The ‘LT’ truck radials have an aggressive tread with good depth. All the glass and lights are in good shape. The headlights are bright and well aimed. The interior of the truck is in much better than average shape for a work truck. The bench seat does not have any holes and the cushion is comfortable. The dash and door panels are tight and crack-free. The vinyl floor is in good condition and there are a pair of floormats. The windows crank up and down easily. The heater works well. The fan only blows on high. The doors open and close easily. The wipers work. Mechanically, the truck runs well. It starts up first try every time and runs smoothly on the road. The 5.8L engine has plenty of power. The automatic transmission shifts easily and smoothly. Temp, oil, and volts all read in the normal when driving. The exhaust is quiet and appears to be relatively new. The ABS brakes (rear only) work as they should. The truck stops well. The suspension and steering are in good order. The gearing on this truck is such that it runs a lot of rpms if you drive 70. It will do it, but it will drink the gas. It cruises very nicely at 55 and gets around at low speeds easily. The odometer shows 81,xxx miles on a 5-digit odometer. I would assume it has rolled and is probably 181,xxx miles, but it is impossible to know for sure. There is some minimal rust starting to form around the rear wheel arch. The bed is solid; however, it is dirty and dinged up. The tailgate opens and closes easily and latches properly. The ‘LT’ truck radials have an aggressive tread with good depth. All the glass and lights are in good shape. The headlights are bright and well aimed.
The interior of the truck is in much better than average shape for a work truck. The bench seat does not have any holes and the cushion is comfortable. The dash and door panels are tight and crack-free. The vinyl floor is in good condition and there are a pair of floormats. The windows crank up and down easily. The heater works well. The fan only blows on high. The doors open and close easily. The wipers work.
Mechanically, the truck runs well. It starts up first try every time and runs smoothly on the road. The 5.8L engine has plenty of power. The automatic transmission shifts easily and smoothly. Temp, oil, and volts all read in the normal when driving. The exhaust is quiet and appears to be relatively new. The ABS brakes (rear only) work as they should. The truck stops well. The suspension and steering are in good order. The gearing on this truck is such that it runs a lot of rpms if you drive 70. It will do it, but it will drink the gas. It cruises very nicely at 55 and gets around at low speeds easily.
The odometer shows 81,xxx miles on a 5-digit odometer. I would assume it has rolled and is probably 181,xxx miles, but it is impossible to know for sure.

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
