I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Jaguar X-Type with the desirable "Sport Package" and rare manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Jaguar to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. It is finished in British Racing Green over tan and features the large alloy wheels and additional body treatments specific to the Sport Package. The finish on this Jaguar shows well and looks good from any angle. Upon closer inspection, there are signs of typical wear associated with a vehicle of this age and mileage. There is a light scrape over the right rear wheel arch. The rear deck spoiler has a small crack in the center. There are small scratches, scrapes and other flaws to be found commensurate with the age and mileage of this vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The large alloy wheels show some scrapes but look good over all and are wrapped in a matching set of Michellin's with deep tread all around. The right headlight will need replaced...it is out. This Jaguar has optional Parking Distance Sensors in the rear bumber. The Park Assist works properly with no issues. I would rate the interior of this Jaguar to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior looks good and contrasts nicely against the green exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age of the vehicle. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats show well throughout the cabin. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof appear to be in proper working condition. The stereo system is original, sounds great and offers steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. This Jaguar is great to drive in. I've put in a few hours behind the wheel personally and this Jag is a blast. Mechanically, this Jaguar appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. Other than a little seeping at the valve cover gaskets, I did not see any leaks. The engine does not smoke. The front bushings are showing a little age but not to the point that it compromises drivability. This is common with older Jags. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are impressive. This Jaguar is equally at home running errands around town as it is carving fast corners and cruising down the highway. The sport suspension is a big difference over the base X-Type's. The oversized alloys wrapped in high performance tires backed by AWD really keep this Jaguar planted and confident through the corners, too. The engine makes good power and revs freely. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are also smooth and effortless. Accelleration is good. Out on the highway, this Jaguar cruises easily and drives nice and straight with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Jaguar X-Type with the desirable "Sport Package" and rare manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Jaguar to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. It is finished in British Racing Green over tan and features the large alloy wheels and additional body treatments specific to the Sport Package. The finish on this Jaguar shows well and looks good from any angle. Upon closer inspection, there are signs of typical wear associated with a vehicle of this age and mileage. There is a light scrape over the right rear wheel arch. The rear deck spoiler has a small crack in the center. There are small scratches, scrapes and other flaws to be found commensurate with the age and mileage of this vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The large alloy wheels show some scrapes but look good over all and are wrapped in a matching set of Michellin's with deep tread all around. The right headlight will need replaced...it is out. This Jaguar has optional Parking Distance Sensors in the rear bumber. The Park Assist works properly with no issues.
I would rate the interior of this Jaguar to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior looks good and contrasts nicely against the green exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age of the vehicle. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats show well throughout the cabin. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof appear to be in proper working condition. The stereo system is original, sounds great and offers steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. This Jaguar is great to drive in. I've put in a few hours behind the wheel personally and this Jag is a blast.
Mechanically, this Jaguar appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. Other than a little seeping at the valve cover gaskets, I did not see any leaks. The engine does not smoke. The front bushings are showing a little age but not to the point that it compromises drivability. This is common with older Jags. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are impressive. This Jaguar is equally at home running errands around town as it is carving fast corners and cruising down the highway. The sport suspension is a big difference over the base X-Type's. The oversized alloys wrapped in high performance tires backed by AWD really keep this Jaguar planted and confident through the corners, too. The engine makes good power and revs freely. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are also smooth and effortless. Accelleration is good. Out on the highway, this Jaguar cruises easily and drives nice and straight with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
