1969 Honda CB

I found this bike on the show room floor in a Hardware Store in the Northwest a couple of years ago.I was up in the area to buy a CB750 and it was sold before I got there. The man could hear my disappointment that it was sold and told me he also had a 1969 CB450 and that it was nicer than than the CB750. I saw it and I bought it. He heard that some guy had a bike that was in his garage for over 30 years and he went and bought it.He took it to his Honda mechanic and told him to check it all over and get it running.The mechanic did his thing and made it purr like a kitten and the new owner spent hours and hours cleaning and polishing his new find. It also has a matched set of "Continental tires". The 1969 CB450 is a rather rare bike since this was the year that the CB750 was introduced and a lot of people bought the big new bike. There were not a lot of CB450's sold in 1969 because of this. So what is so special about the "Baby CB750 of 1969?" The 1969 CB450K2 This is the only year of the cool front fender marker.The last year with the old school mufflers (these are like NOS by the way).The last year of the dual leading brake drum up front.The last year of the screw on gas cap. (the tank is as new inside and has not been lined).The last year of no reflectors on the upper fork covers.These are the biggest differences and there are others as well. This is one of the nicest K2's you will find.The seat is original too and very nice and pliable.The bike runs great.The license plate frame will not be sold with the bike.The license plate will be sold with the bike if a California buyer buys it Please look at the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.Full price to be paid within 5 days of auction end.I will assist the shipper of your choice.
