1974 triumph trident. the last of the triumph tridents( t160's were rebadged bsa rocket threes). this is a one owner motorcycle. i bought this bike new in the summer of 1974 at weipahu triumph/honda in hawaii when i was stationed there in the navy. most of the miles were put on riding around the island. when i transfered to the mainland, the bike went into household goods storage.(1981-1999) when i got my final duty station for retirement, i got it out of storage and had it deliver to florida. all it needed was a cleaning, new battery and gas and it fired right up. i have ridden it sparringly over the years. i am selling the old girl because my house needs new siding and this is how i plan on paying for it. she has no known issues. fires up on 1st or 2nd kick if i do my part. i have changed a few things over the years. i never liked the "u.s." bars, so i changed them to home market bars.(origional bars included). upgraded to boyer/bransded ignition( points plate included for those who like to play). upgraded to stainless steel m/c and piston for the brakes. i just put a new gas mat battery in and did a full fluid change(oil/filter, gearbox etc). new ebc hh brake pads. i am also including some spares i have accumilated over the years.. new hepolite pistons, top end gasket set, oil filter, new clutch, porche style valve adjusters, shop manual and owners manual. this bike needs nothing except someone to ride it. i have set the reserve a t a what i think is a fair price. if it doesn't make it i may drain the fluids and put it on display in my den. as this is a near 40 year old motorcycle, there is no warrenty or guarentee implied or otherwise. cavet empter. shipping is entirely on the buyer. i will assist in any way i can, but i will not crate. vehicle will not be released untill funds clear my bank. please do not bis if you don't have the funds or permission from your wife(you know what i mean married guys). happy bidding, you won't be disappointed.
