The Saturn SL2 is the best deal in a small car under $3500, in my opinion. They are straightforward, simple vehicles that get great fuel economy, have a peppy engine, and are simple and inexpensive to maintain. The exterior of this Saturn looks nice. The paint shows well; it has the usual small imperfections and blemishes that come from normal use. There is a crack in the front bumper. It does not look like it was run into anything. I have a green Saturn factory bumper that the high bidder can purchase. The dent-proof plastic doors and fenders are in good shape. The tires are a matching set of radials with good tread and they have a matching set of hubcaps. The interior of this Saturn is in good condition. The seats are comfortable and do not have any holes or large stains. The carpets look good and there is a set of factory floor mats in the trunk. As you can see in the pictures, the headliner is not perfect. The factory stereo gets good radio reception and has quality sound. The heater works quite well and the fan blows at all speeds in all positions. The windows crank up and down easily. This Saturn runs well. The Twin Cam engine has more pep that you would expect from a fuel efficient 4 cylinder. Like almost all older Saturns, it does burn a little oil. There a check engine light with a code for the smog pump. This does not affect drivability. The 5-speed transmission shifts easily. The clutch grabs smoothly and does not slip. The steering is easy and responsive. The suspension soaks up bumps well. There is no shaking, wobbling, or clunking and the car cruises down the highway nicely. The brakes stop the car quickly. The exhaust has a hole and is noisy. It is annoying, but not headache causing loud. The combination of the four cylinder engine and 5-speed transmission gives this car great fuel economy. I took a 200 mile trip in it this weekend and only spent $20 in gas. The SL2 is an unbeatable value when you factor high fuel economy, low cost of ownership, and easy maintenance. The interior of this Saturn is in good condition. The seats are comfortable and do not have any holes or large stains. The carpets look good and there is a set of factory floor mats in the trunk. As you can see in the pictures, the headliner is not perfect. The factory stereo gets good radio reception and has quality sound. The heater works quite well and the fan blows at all speeds in all positions. The windows crank up and down easily.
This Saturn runs well. The Twin Cam engine has more pep that you would expect from a fuel efficient 4 cylinder. Like almost all older Saturns, it does burn a little oil. There a check engine light with a code for the smog pump. This does not affect drivability. The 5-speed transmission shifts easily. The clutch grabs smoothly and does not slip. The steering is easy and responsive. The suspension soaks up bumps well. There is no shaking, wobbling, or clunking and the car cruises down the highway nicely. The brakes stop the car quickly. The exhaust has a hole and is noisy. It is annoying, but not headache causing loud.
The combination of the four cylinder engine and 5-speed transmission gives this car great fuel economy. I took a 200 mile trip in it this weekend and only spent $20 in gas. The SL2 is an unbeatable value when you factor high fuel economy, low cost of ownership, and easy maintenance. Thanks for looking at my auction, and good luck bidding!

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
