Up for auction is my 1984 JEEP CJ7. This garage kept Jeep has had the original 4 cylinder motor professionally rebuilt by Cambridge Automotive in San Antonio Tx and has only about 3000 miles on the rebuild. The clutch was rebuilt and a new slave cylinder was installed at that time as well. A new dry cell battery has just been installed and new brakes, front end alignment and tires have been installed recently. A Blue Ox Tow Bar System has been installed on the Jeep and the Jeep has been wired to tow behind our motorhome. A 127 point safety check has been performed and the Jeep passed with no problems. This Jeep starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops wonderfully and my wife and I have used it very reliably on many trips. The four wheel drive system works perfectly and smoothly. The Jeep does not wander while driving and the steering is tight. There is no rust on the Jeep and it has all of it's original panels as it has never been damaged in any way. The Jeep has it's original chrome wheels on it shod with new 31 inch mud terrain tires. Our spare tire and radio was stolen on a trip to California this winter and has not been replaced. The paint is in good condition but is by no means perfect. The floors are covered with indoor/outdoor carpet because we run a bikini top on the Jeep during the summer. We have owned the Jeep for about 5 years and have taken care of any problems that arose quickly and efficiently. The Jeep has no problems and can be driven anywhere at any time so you can fly in and drive this Jeep home. This Jeep can run 75 MPH down the road easily and is very smooth on the highway. My wife and I have had the Jeep on some trails in Ouray Colorado and it performed flawlessly. I have installed brand new front seats in the Jeep recently because the old ones were getting tired and uncomfortable. I have driven this Jeep to work many times (60 mile round trip) and have registered around 22 MPG. The Jeep is completely stock with no "performance" modifications or "lift kits". The only things that are not stock are the shifter knobs and fog lights that were on the Jeep when we bought it and the Blue Ox Tow System that we installed. Overall this is an excellent Jeep in wonderful condition in all aspects of the word, it needs nothing but a new loving home. We have sold our motorhome and no longer need the Jeep so we have decided to sell it and use the money to buy our daughter a new car.
