I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 BMW 528iT finished in rare Glacier Green with black interior trimmed in wood. The 5 Series wagons are among my favorite vehicles. I love wagons in general but I've always had a soft spot for the BMW ones...probably because they're the hardest to find. I would rate the exterior of this 528iT to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking estate. The finish shines well and shows no current damage. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few small scratches and scrapes associated with daily use. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This BMW has the optional Premium Package. The only exterior way to spot this is the optional 16" alloy wheels which are specific to the Premium Package. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber all around. The tires show average tread. Please take the time to review the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The black leather interior contrasts brilliantly against the Glacier Green exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The front passenger inside door handle is broken, which is common. The leather seats show well throughout the cabin. Both front seats are power operated. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. Of course, the cup holders are broken. There are also a few plastic bits and buttons missiing or broken which is common. All systems are fully operational. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. A full set of owners books are included with this BMW. Rain sensing wipers and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are included with the Premium Package. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels good all around. I feel a slight bit of play in the front bushings but nothing major...probably will need attention in the next year or so. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. This car has good road manners. She drives nice and straight downt the road with confidence. The engine makes good power and runs strong. The airbag light stays on. There was a check engine light on for a coolant temperature sensor malfunction but it hasn't come back. The temp gauge reads a little cool. Out on the highway, she drives straight and cruises easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 BMW 528iT finished in rare Glacier Green with black interior trimmed in wood. The 5 Series wagons are among my favorite vehicles. I love wagons in general but I've always had a soft spot for the BMW ones...probably because they're the hardest to find. I would rate the exterior of this 528iT to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking estate. The finish shines well and shows no current damage. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few small scratches and scrapes associated with daily use. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This BMW has the optional Premium Package. The only exterior way to spot this is the optional 16" alloy wheels which are specific to the Premium Package. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber all around. The tires show average tread. Please take the time to review the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The black leather interior contrasts brilliantly against the Glacier Green exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The front passenger inside door handle is broken, which is common. The leather seats show well throughout the cabin. Both front seats are power operated. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. Of course, the cup holders are broken. There are also a few plastic bits and buttons missiing or broken which is common. All systems are fully operational. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. A full set of owners books are included with this BMW. Rain sensing wipers and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are included with the Premium Package.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels good all around. I feel a slight bit of play in the front bushings but nothing major...probably will need attention in the next year or so. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. This car has good road manners. She drives nice and straight downt the road with confidence. The engine makes good power and runs strong. The airbag light stays on. There was a check engine light on for a coolant temperature sensor malfunction but it hasn't come back. The temp gauge reads a little cool. Out on the highway, she drives straight and cruises easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
