I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. I want you to know exactly what you are buying so you can bid with confidence.Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a rare find: a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a factory AX-15 MANUAL TRANSMISSION! I have the build sheet from Jeep; this is the real deal, not an aftermarket conversion. This manual transmission is the same used in the Cherokee and Wrangler for years. However it was an option only for the first years of the Grand Cherokee before Jeep decided it didn’t fit the luxury image they were going for with the Grand Cherokee. This appears to be a completely unmolested, unmodified, cared for, early production 94. It is in very good condition for a 20 year old Jeep. The blue and grey exterior of this Grand Cherokee looks very good for a 20 year old SUV. The blue paint has a nice shine. There is no obvious fading or clear coat peeling, nor is there any rust I saw. On close inspection you can see the usual small scratches and blemishes. The grey plastic cladding is in good condition and firmly attached. The alloy wheels are wrapped in a matching set of radials, but the tread is getting thin. The windshield, windows, and lights are all clear and crack-free. The rear hatch opens easily and stays open properly. The grey cloth interior is in good condition. It shows the usual signs of use, but is in overall better than average condition for the age. The seats are comfortable and have no holes. The carpets look good. There is some staining on the driver’s floor. The door panels and dash are clean and firmly attached. It has all the Laredo features: power windows, locks, mirrors, and interval wipers and they all work properly. There is an aftermarket stereo; it does not appear to function. The heater works well and the fan blows at all speeds in all positions. Mechanically, this Jeep is in good running condition. The 4.0L straight 6 engine starts easily. It makes good power. It keeps good oil pressure, voltage, and temp. The 5 speed manual is exactly what I would expect from a Jeep. It shifts easily between gears and is well matched to the torque of the 4.0L straight 6. The clutch engages easily and does not slip. The four wheel drive engages easily, including low range. This Grand Cherokee makes all the usual old Jeep noises: the exhaust is a bit noisy; there is driveline noise; and the suspension clunks when hitting big bumps. The steering is easy and tight (for a Jeep). It cruises down the highway with no trouble, no pulling nor wobbling. I drove it to Baltimore and back and I have no complaints about how it drives. The ABS brakes stop well. There are no check engine lights. I buy and sell dozens of Jeeps a year, and I’ve always said a Grand Cherokee would be a little grander if it had a 5-speed. This one has good miles and it isn’t beaten to hell. Unlike many other rare vehicles, parts won’t be hard to find for this, because it is the same engine and transmission Jeep used in other models for decades. Thanks for looking at my auction. I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage.

Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a rare find: a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a factory AX-15 MANUAL TRANSMISSION! I have the build sheet from Jeep; this is the real deal, not an aftermarket conversion. This manual transmission is the same used in the Cherokee and Wrangler for years. However it was an option only for the first years of the Grand Cherokee before Jeep decided it didn’t fit the luxury image they were going for with the Grand Cherokee. This appears to be a completely unmolested, unmodified, cared for, early production 94. It is in very good condition for a 20 year old Jeep.
The blue and grey exterior of this Grand Cherokee looks very good for a 20 year old SUV. The blue paint has a nice shine. There is no obvious fading or clear coat peeling, nor is there any rust I saw. On close inspection you can see the usual small scratches and blemishes. The grey plastic cladding is in good condition and firmly attached. The alloy wheels are wrapped in a matching set of radials, but the tread is getting thin. The windshield, windows, and lights are all clear and crack-free. The rear hatch opens easily and stays open properly.
The grey cloth interior is in good condition. It shows the usual signs of use, but is in overall better than average condition for the age. The seats are comfortable and have no holes. The carpets look good. There is some staining on the driver’s floor. The door panels and dash are clean and firmly attached. It has all the Laredo features: power windows, locks, mirrors, and interval wipers and they all work properly. There is an aftermarket stereo; it does not appear to function. The heater works well and the fan blows at all speeds in all positions.
Mechanically, this Jeep is in good running condition. The 4.0L straight 6 engine starts easily. It makes good power. It keeps good oil pressure, voltage, and temp. The 5 speed manual is exactly what I would expect from a Jeep. It shifts easily between gears and is well matched to the torque of the 4.0L straight 6. The clutch engages easily and does not slip. The four wheel drive engages easily, including low range. This Grand Cherokee makes all the usual old Jeep noises: the exhaust is a bit noisy; there is driveline noise; and the suspension clunks when hitting big bumps. The steering is easy and tight (for a Jeep). It cruises down the highway with no trouble, no pulling nor wobbling. I drove it to Baltimore and back and I have no complaints about how it drives. The ABS brakes stop well. There are no check engine lights.
I buy and sell dozens of Jeeps a year, and I’ve always said a Grand Cherokee would be a little grander if it had a 5-speed. This one has good miles and it isn’t beaten to hell. Unlike many other rare vehicles, parts won’t be hard to find for this, because it is the same engine and transmission Jeep used in other models for decades. Winning bidders:

Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
