I have for sale this 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 4DSD. The body is overall in nice condition for a vehicle that is 34 years old. This car belonged to my late father and I am selling to settle the estate. It was purchased in Venice Florida in the summer of 2011 and shipped to New York, it was never registered in New York, so it has the Florida title. Therefore, I have the original Florida title to pass on to the new owner ready for THEIR signature. The car runs OK and shifts through the automatic with no known problems, but could get by with a change of plugs and some new plug wires. Interior shows sign of wear on the leather and a few small cracks. The wood is in very condition, and I do not see any peeling or cracking of the varnish on the wood. Tires and the exhaust are in nice condition, they do not have to be changed. The condition of the car is a Rolls that has been painted about 10 to 15 years ago and there is minimal rust on the bottom of the front fenders and on the driver's rear quarter panel, it does have a few scratches, the paint is not perfect, it should have the vinyal top replaced. The brakes work perfect, with NO lights staying on.. This car does have some history paperwork going back to the early 1980's, the new owner will get all of it. A new rack and pinion was installed around 10,000 miles ago, and the previous owners repaired anything that needed attention. This Rolls Royce is a very nice starter car or first car for a very CHEAP price. Remember, this is a 34 year old car, not everything is going to be perfect, but at around $5000, it will be a deal for someone to get into a Rolls for CHEAP money. If your expecting this Rolls to be in super nice or museum quality, look at some other car. This car is just a daily driver if you do not want to do anything to it.
