Normal regularly scheduled service maintenance has been done along with the following repairs in 2002: the valve cover gasket was changed, the valves were last adjusted then also, spark plug tune-up and pertronix ignition igniter ,.. all done during a normally scheduled oil change at that time with odometer reading 49,877 mileage in September of 2002. Regarding the body,.. there was professional surface work done to remove minor dings and scratches in 1986 and undercoating of the car was done at the same time. Therefore since 1986 for the last 27 years the car body has been as is shown in the photos herein. There is NO rust visible to me anywhere on the body and if you refer to the photos in the link provided above sponsored by eBay's new vuvox.com photo gallery,.. you can be assured the photos are real and actual and were taken in the past 10 days,.. even the car's underside has been photographed whereby you can see the undercoating and the very clean and nice condition of the vehicle's underside. Regarding the interior,.. the door panels are tan and the carpet is black and both are very good condition, the seats are also tan and are the originals,.. however, "speed" brand sport seat covers in black and blue color were installed because of the sun making the seats very hot when the car is driven to the beach with the top down,.. although be advised that the seats are originals and as such the drivers side seat has a separation in the bottom rear near the hinge that is 3 inches long that needs repair if you want to fix it. The retractable top is like new and operates perfectly and has the matching snap on cover, also the separate cockpit cover is included as well and is perfect. I am planning to drive the car to Myrtle Beach in March and will be adding more mileage to the current odometer therefore for purposes of fare disclosure in this advertisement I have over-stated the mileage to 52,000 to include the Myrtle Beach road trip we have planned, obviously if I sell the car before the trip the mileage will be well below 52,000 miles.
