My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Most of what I sell are new car trades from larger dealerships and all vehicles are sold "as-traded" directly to the public. Please take the time to read this entire description BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 BMW 740i. The 7 Series is the flag ship of the BMW family. The E38 chassis production came to an end with the 2001 model year and was replaced by the American designed E65 chassis for the 2002 model year to much disappointment from loyal BMW buyers. The lack of support for the E65 has significantly helped the E38's maintain their resale value...especially the later 1999-01's as they received a much needed exterior update. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous 740i. It is finished in an attractive Orient Blue over gray in the uncommon short wheel base version. The paint shines very well from bumper to bumper. There is a tiny spot of damage on the drivers door that is roughly the diameter of a TicTac (see photo). Other than a few small blemishes from normal use, there really isn't much to complain about on the exterior. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper set of matching tires with deep rubber all around. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior is very clean but there are a few things you should know. The door panels are clean and tight throughout the interior. The carpets show well throughout. The dash and headliner are also clean. The leather seats show well and are comfortable. The drivers window and right rear window will require new regulators. The motors work but the teeth sound stripped. The cup holder is broken just like nearly every BMW on the planet. The display screen to the computer does not work and the radio sometimes cuts out...but comes right back if you turn it off and back on (maybe they're related). The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. There are steering wheel controls for easy driving. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.4L 32V DOHC engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It smoothly delivers 282HP through a ZF five speed Adaptive Drive automatic transmission. The suspension on this BMW feels good but will require bushings within the next year. The whole kit costs $249 (available here on eBay) and can be done by any qualified mechanic in about 5 hours...it does not require a BMW specialist. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are very good. You get a small vibration at 50mph from the aforementioned bushings. However, she feels great around town and cruises straight and smooth at highway speeds. The ZF five speed automatic transmission is one of my favorites and is one of the best automatics available in a production passenger vehicle. Around town, it shifts smoothly and seamlessly. Under full power, it shifts quickly and precisely but still retains its civility. Downshifts are almost intuitive. The E38 is one of the best all around cars available. They are easy to maintain and offer a driving experience that is hard to beat. These vehicles are as much at home running errands around town as they are blasting down the highway at triple digit speeds. They are geared perfectly and get highway fuel economy in the mid 20's. This 740i comes to us with brand new PA safety and emissions inspections. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Most of what I sell are new car trades from larger dealerships and all vehicles are sold "as-traded" directly to the public. Please take the time to read this entire description BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 BMW 740i. The 7 Series is the flag ship of the BMW family. The E38 chassis production came to an end with the 2001 model year and was replaced by the American designed E65 chassis for the 2002 model year to much disappointment from loyal BMW buyers. The lack of support for the E65 has significantly helped the E38's maintain their resale value...especially the later 1999-01's as they received a much needed exterior update. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous 740i. It is finished in an attractive Orient Blue over gray in the uncommon short wheel base version. The paint shines very well from bumper to bumper. There is a tiny spot of damage on the drivers door that is roughly the diameter of a TicTac (see photo). Other than a few small blemishes from normal use, there really isn't much to complain about on the exterior. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper set of matching tires with deep rubber all around.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior is very clean but there are a few things you should know. The door panels are clean and tight throughout the interior. The carpets show well throughout. The dash and headliner are also clean. The leather seats show well and are comfortable. The drivers window and right rear window will require new regulators. The motors work but the teeth sound stripped. The cup holder is broken just like nearly every BMW on the planet. The display screen to the computer does not work and the radio sometimes cuts out...but comes right back if you turn it off and back on (maybe they're related). The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. There are steering wheel controls for easy driving.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.4L 32V DOHC engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It smoothly delivers 282HP through a ZF five speed Adaptive Drive automatic transmission. The suspension on this BMW feels good but will require bushings within the next year. The whole kit costs $249 (available here on eBay) and can be done by any qualified mechanic in about 5 hours...it does not require a BMW specialist. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are very good. You get a small vibration at 50mph from the aforementioned bushings. However, she feels great around town and cruises straight and smooth at highway speeds. The ZF five speed automatic transmission is one of my favorites and is one of the best automatics available in a production passenger vehicle. Around town, it shifts smoothly and seamlessly. Under full power, it shifts quickly and precisely but still retains its civility. Downshifts are almost intuitive. The E38 is one of the best all around cars available. They are easy to maintain and offer a driving experience that is hard to beat. These vehicles are as much at home running errands around town as they are blasting down the highway at triple digit speeds. They are geared perfectly and get highway fuel economy in the mid 20's. This 740i comes to us with brand new PA safety and emissions inspections. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Bidding:
Read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. It does not do you or us any good if you win an auction on an item that does not fit your needs or has disclosed flaws that you are not comfortable with.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us for details. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
