I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Ford F250 2WD pickup with the desirable extended cab. I've been a fan of Ford trucks, well...Ford's in general, all of my life. While I sell a variety of vehicles, I tend to stick to Ford personally. I feel as if they're a better built vehicle. Anyway, take a look at this one. Seriously...look it over really well. It is obvious that this vehicle is going to have some issues. For starters, it looks like it did battle with a deer or something at one point in the past. Although the hood does latch properly, there is obvious damage to the hood as well as the grill assembly. The left headlight is completely missing. Addittionally, there is significant body rust visible on this vehicle. I tried to take detailed photos of the lower portions of the entire lower portion of the body as well as the underside, as I'm sure I'll get a million questions about that. The windows are professionally tinted all around which look good. The rear tires are basically shot. The fronts "should" pass inspection but are nowhere near new. Please review each of the photos closely. I would rate the interior condition of this F250 as AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The seats also show well for their age and are comfortable. It doesn't smell especially good...but it's not terrible. It just smells like an old work truck. The radio has been removed. The power windows, locks and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The climate control system appears to be working. If memory serves me, the heat doesn't get really hot on this one. There really isn't much to say about the inside. It is comfortable to drive in and will get the job done. Mechanically, this F250 appears to be in good running condition. The power house 5.4L Triton V8 starts with a jump and runs smoothly and quietly. If you drive it, you can shut it off and start it right back up with no issues but the battery will go dead if it sits for a while. This truck drove much better than I feared it would...based on the exterior condition. The engine keeps perfect temperature and oil pressure. It makes great power and runs well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brake pedal is very soft and the ABS/brake warning light is on. The truck does stop in spite of this issue but I wouldn't put any weight behind it until it is addressed. The worst case is a bad master cylinder...best case is a rusted brake line. She drives down the road at highway speeds strait as an arrow with no complaints. She isn't really a looker...and you'll have to throw a few bucks at it for tires/battery/brakes./headlight...but she would make a great work truck. It makes tons of power and drives nice and strait. If you wish to contact us for any reason, the quickest and best way to do so is through eBay's email system. Messages left on the office voicemail may take several days to get to the right person or get lost.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We include any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official inspection done by a certified mechanic. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Bidding:
Read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. It does not do you or us any good if you win an auction on an item that does not fit your needs or has disclosed flaws that you are not comfortable with.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us for details. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
