I am selling a 1965 JetStar Super 88 Coupe (rare). This car has spent it's life in dry Eastern Oregon with only two owners. The speedometer shows 88,000 miles which seems to be correct as the car still has T3 headlight and the doors do not sag. It was last licensed in 2009. The body is 99.5% straight. The convex and concave edges around the headlights and taillights are perfect. There are two small rust areas in the lower rear (flat) quarter panels. There is no rust in the trunk. The bumpers have slight pitting. The car has dual exhaust and draws alot of attention on my trips to the store, which prompts the question...what year is the 442? The car has power steering and it drives, stops and the transmission shifts as it should. The car does not drip or leak fluids. The wheels have been upgraded from 14" to 15". The car appears to have been repainted at some point, which I guess is when the stripes were added. It also appears to heve been reupholstered. What it needs is a new dash pad, dome light cover, trunk lock, left hood spring, heater hoses and a windshield. You can drive the car home today as it sits. I have no reserve price on the car. I accept cash, or cashier checks & personnel checks drawn on US bank accounts with a copy of your driver's license. I do not accept PayPal or money orders. I will not deal with anyone outside of the US. I will not ship the car. I request that the winning bidder submit to me by registered carrier a deposit of $1000 usd within 24 hours of notification of winning the bid. I will only hold the car for two weeks in which time the balance is to be paid in full. If I do not receive a down payment within the 24 hour time-frame, I will resell the car.
