" This car is being listed for a friend who is recovering from a stroke "Here is a very nice 52 Chevy Hard Top. The interior is very clean and comfortable with no stains or wear places. The carpet fits the floor perfect, no wrinkles. The motor has been rebuilt, around 1800 miles ago, starts right away even when it hasn't been started for long periods of time. No smoke, or oil leaks. The battery is new, the tires are like new radial white walls. The trans. is quiet in all the gears, no clutch chatter, or slipping, the shifter is tight and shifts smooth through all the gears. The steering is tight with no excessive play, the brakes stop straight. This is not advertised as a show car, but a tight old car that drives great and looks great, a real pleasure to drive and to look at. The car looks like there has never been any prior body damage from accidents, no body fillers, or bondo patch work. The body is very straight, there are very few paint chips on the drivers rear quarter, all body lines are like factory specs. the doors close very easy, no sagging hinges, the hood and trunk closes great. The floor pans, body braces and body mounts are rock solid, the whole undercarriage is rust free.The stainless trim is straight. The bumpers have been rechromed and are very nice condition. There is an original jack in the trunk and a spare tire. The trunk is 100% rust free, the car has had one repaint.
