1940 ford Coupe Deluxe. Has 24 stud 59AB ford flathead. Divers helmet style distributor. Has polished navaro heads. Has Thickstun Prewar dual carb high rise intake manifold. Two stromberg (big logo 97) carburators. The car is white with black 16" original ford rims. 700's in the back and 600's in the front. Firestone bias ply's. Has a nice stance. This is very stock compared to many that I have seen. Has original style lever shocks. A low miles chasis. Original bumbers. Registered with a pair of 1940 california plates. The front plate appears unrestored. An all original California Car. If you like traditional you will think this is a cool looking car. The interior is complete. No cigarette burns or dark spots on the fabric. The transmission is a 39' and not a 40'. The shifter is on the floor. "Hot rod style". I added the speed parts and gave the car some mechanical attention. New clutch. Resurfaced the flywheel. New throwback bearing. New starter. New distributor and coil. Drives like a solid car. The undercarriage still has the original ford black paint. This could be a nice driver (as is) or a good starting point for a street rod vehicle.
