Rare, 1956 Pontiac Safari Nomad 2 door wagon, only 4,042 produced. Very solid Colorado car, running and driving project. Brakes work, but the pedal is hard like the vacuum assist in not working. Motor sounds good, but smokes. Body is very, very solid with no rust. Floorboards have been cleaned and Rustoleum primer applied. There were 2 small rust spots the were repaired. No rust in tailgate or spare tire well. Also no rust in the inner rockers. Front clip was stripped and primed. Body was sanded and primed. Body had original paint only. No bodywork was done, so there is no Bondo in it. The body has small dings and minor dents - very easy to finish off. The car is missing door panels, some of the trim in the cargo floor area. I have some of it that is not shown in the photos. Also missing hood ornament, fender V8 emblem, Pontiac block letter on tailgate. Windshield has a bulls eye. Passenger door glass is cracked and right rear quarter glass is also cracked. Nice stainless trim and good chrome on pot metal pieces. Extra gauges, radio, and dash pieces. All VIN and trim tags are there and a nice clean Colorado title. A really rare investment opportunity - a hard-to-find low number built solid classic car. Desirable! Call with questions.
