THE FACTORY WIRE WHEEL COVERS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THIS IS A VERY NICE AND CLEAN LOW MILEAGE AUTOMOBILE – AVEREGING ONLY 1,900 MILES PER YEAR. MECHANICAL CONDITION I DRIVE HER PRETTY REGULARLY (ALTHOUGH THIS ISN’T MY DAILY DRIVER) AND THE CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN DEPENDABLE. SHE STARTS RIGHT UP EVERY TIME- EVEN WHEN IT’S BELOW FREEZING. ENGINE IS NICE AND STRONG. IDLE IS VERY STEADY. DRIVES STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW – WITH NO SHIMMYING OR SHAKING. SHE EASILY GLIDES DOWN THE HIGHWAY EFFORTLESSLY AT 85MPH. SUSPENSION IS FIRM; BRAKES WORK WELL WITH THE PEDAL BEING NICE AND FIRM. ACCELERATION IS QUITE GOOD. THESE THINGS, ALONG WITH THE LUXURIOUS ROOMY INTERIOR, MAKE FOR A FINE, PLEASANT, AND COMFORTABLE DRIVING VEHICLE (THAT’S WHY I ENJOY DRIVING HER). CAR NEVER OVER HEATED, STALLED, OR FAILED ME. THERE ARE NO LEAKS, SMOKE, ETC. SHE SOUNDS GOOD WHILE RUNNING AND IS VERY QUIET ON THE ROAD. I NOTICED SOME SQUEEKING IN THE STEERING. I THOGHT IT NEEDED POWER STEERING FLUID SO I CHECKED IT, WAS A BIT LOW AND PUT SOME IN. SHE SEEEMED BETTER WITH LESS SQUEEKING BUT I STILL HEARD IT. ALTHOUGH I DIDN’T DRIVE VERY FAR OR LONG. PERHAPS THE PS FLUID NEEDS TO GET THROUGH THE SYSTEM. CAR DRIVES LIKE (I HESITATE TO SAY LIKE NEW, BUT SHE DOES). SHE HANDLES VERY WELL FOR A FULL SIZE CAR. DRIVES STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW WITH NO SHIMMYING OR SHAKES. I RECENTLY TOOK HER UP TO 85 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AND SHE RODE VERY SMOOTHLY & WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. THIS WAS AND IS A NON SMOKING CAR (SEE PHOTOS OF ALL 4 ASHTRAYS). ALL LIGHTERS WORK AND APPEAR TO NEVER HAVE BEEN USED. EXTERIOR CONDITION THE CAR STILL MAINTAINS IT’S CLOSE TO ORIGINAL SHINE. PAINT APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL. NO SIGNS OF BONDO. PHOTOS ARE OF THE CAR WITHOUT BEING DETAILED OR WASHED. I DON’T CARE FOR AUTOMATIC CAR WASHES AND PREFER TO HAND WASH IT. BUT IT STILL LOOKS GREAT THE WAY IT IS. I DO HOPE TO DETAIL HER BEFORE SHE GOES TO A NEW HOME L. THE VINYL TOP LOOKS GREAT. THE ORIGINAL WIRE WHEELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO VISIBLE RUST, STILL HAVING ALL 4 CENTER RINGS. ALL GLASS APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL, IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND VERY CLEAR, WITH NO CRACKS, HOLES, ETC. ALL CHROME SHINES VERY NICELY. THE BUMPER RUBBER LOOKS LIKE NEW. THE HEADLINER SAGS IN SOME AREAS BUT IT’S NOT THAT BAD, A RATHER COMMON PROBLEM WITH OLDER CARS. THIS ONE SEEMS LIKE AN EASY FIX. IT’S STILL NICE & CLEAN AND DOESN’T SEEM TO NEED TO BE REPLACED. BUMBERS NEED SOME FILLER. THERE’S SOME “RIPPLING” ON THE LEFT REAR (NOT FROM RUST, AS THERE IS NONE, NOT EVEN BUBBLING). ACCORDING TO THE AUTOCHECK, THERE WERE NO ACCIDENTS. PERHAPS IT WAS CAUSED BY A MINOR FENDER BENDER BECAUSE IT’S NOT REALLY A DENT (AGAIN, PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY). ALSO, THERE’S A SMALL PIECE OF METAL MISSING ON THE LEFT REAR THAT’S SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. I’M NOT TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING, BUT JUST WANT TO GIVE AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION. THESE ISSUES I MENTIONED ARE NOT THAT NOTICABLE FROM A FEW FEET BUT CAN BE SEEN UP CLOSE. INTERIOR LEATHER INTERIOR ALSO LOOKS VERY GOOD. THE DRIVER’S SEAT SHOWS SOME WEAR ON THE TOP LEFT SIDE. BUT THERE ARE NO TEARS OR HOLES ON IT (PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS). THE WEAR ON THE DRIVER’S SEAT APPEARS TO BE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BACK OF THE SEAT. PASSENGER & REAR SEATS ARE EXCELLENT SHOWING VIRTUALLY NO WEAR. CAR COULD EASILY FIT SIX AVERAGE SIZED ADULT (WITH THE FRONT AND REAR MIDDLE ARM RESTS UP). THERE IS A BIT OF DISCOLORATION ON SOME OF THE PLASTIC PARTS LIKE THE PART WHERE THE SEAT BELT GOES THROUGH AND KEEPS IT IN PLACE. THE INTERIOR IS VERY ROOMY AND AIRY. INCLUDING THE DRIVER’S & PASSENGER SIDES. THE BACK SEATS LOOK LIKE THEY’VE NEVER BEEN SAT IN AND FEELS LIKE BEING IN A LIMO! EVERY WHO RIDES WITH ME, WANTS TO SIT IN THE BACK! ALL CARPETTING IS NICE, PLUSH, AND CLEAN. ALL POWER ACCESSORIES – POWER WINDOWS, POWER DOOR LOCKS, DUEL POWER SEATS, INTERIOR POWER TRUNK RELEASE, POWER TRUNK CLOSE, CRUISE CONTROL, ADJUSTABLE SENTINAL HEAD LAMPS, TILT WHEEL, ETC. FUNCTION AS THEY SHOULD. THE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL APPEARS TO WORK WELL WITH LED DISPLAYING INSIDE TEMPERTURE THAT CAN BE SET TO A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE. OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE CAN BE DISPLAYED AS WELL. THE DASHBOARD LED MILEAGE RANGE, INSTANT MPG, & AVERAGE MPG INDICATORS WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THIS CAR IS MOSTLY ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING 4 PREMIUM CADILLAC LOGO CARPETED FLOOR MATS. ALL FOUR MUD GUARDS LOOK ORIGINAL AS WELL BEING THAT THEY MATCH IN COLOR AND ARE PROPERLY & SECURELY INSTALLED. ALL EMBLEMS, HOOD ORNAMENTS, TRUNK KEY COVER ARE THERE & IN VERY GOOD CONITION. NOT ORIGINAL IS A NEW DIEHARD BATTERY AND PERHAPS THE TIRES WHICH ARE THE CORRECT WIDE WHITE WALLS (EXCEPT FOR ONE) FOR THIS MODEL & YEAR. THEY APPEAR TO HAVE ABOUT 75% TREAD LEFT (SEE PHOTOS). BUT I’ll TRY TO MEASURE THE TREAD & ADD IT TO THE LISTING. ALL INTERIOR & EXTERIOR LIGHTS WORK AS THEY SHOULD. INLUDING FRONT DOOR LIGHTS, DUAL FRONT MAP LIGHTS, DRIVER’S AND PASSENGER’S VANITY MIRROR LAMPS, DOME LIGHT, LEFT & RIGHT REAR LAMPS, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, BOTH ELEGANT OUTSIDE OPERA LAMPS. THE ANTENNA DOESN’T WORKS. IT DOESN’T GO DOWN AND IS IN THE UP POSITION. THE AM/FM CASSETTE AUDIO SYSTEM WORKS WELL MOST OF THE TIME. THE CASSETTE PLAYER SEEMS TO WORK VERY WELL ALL THE TIME AND SOUNDS GREAT AS I JUST TESTED IT TODAY. WHEN IT WORKS THE RADIO SOUNDS EXCELLENT. THE LED RADIO DISPLAY LIGHTS UP BUT DOESN’T SHOW ALL OF THE NUMBERS / DIGITS PROPERLY. IT SEEMS LIKE ONCE I GET GOING AND THE CAR IS WARMED UP, THE RADIO KICKS IN. AS I MENTIONED ABOVE, I WILL TRY TO FIX AS MUCH AS I CAN BEFORE END OF AUCTION. Solid. Pretty inexpensive overall. Faults: Headliner sagged. General Comments: This car is fun and fairly unique these days; not too many of them are still around. I met two people who had the same car so far and each one had over 200000 miles on theirs and raved about what a great car it was. This car has character. It's comfortable like a living room. I love that insurance on a 23 year old car is really inexpensive. I love the blue fabric interior. I had the headliner redone and the interior looks almost like new. Where can I buy a new car with a blue fabric interior? What car would I buy that I wouldn't yell if my kid jumped around in it and put his dirty feet here and there? For normal driving, I don't find the car underpowered. I put 70 series tires on it and it corners quite nicely. And it glides down the highway. The car is quite sound overall and it feels like it wants to run. I don't think the cost of repairs comes close to adding up to what the payments and insurance on a new car would be. And everybody has a new car that looks a lot like every other one. I put my baby seat in the middle of the back seat and there's still plenty of room on either side for my wife to sit. She's from Russia. I call the Caddy our American Volga (that's their higher end car in Russia). Before I got this car, I didn't really know how good a caddy could be. But now, I would actually consider buying a new one sometime. Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Faults: Stalls once in a while, probably related to the throttle position sensor problem. Any other problems have been routine in nature. General Comments: Good passing power. Handles very well for a car of its size and weight. Gas mileage isn't fantastic, but it's not as bad as you would think. The interior is like a living room, greatest road trip car ever. Of all the cars I have driven, this remains my favorite. Nothing beats an old Cadillac. Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Before I bought it the stock am/FM/CB radio stopped working, so I replaced it with a Kenwood CD player which sounds great. Other than that the car is in great shape. General Comments: I bought / traded the car January 10th 2005 at a local used car lot for my father’s Chevy S10 & $225. I knew the second I saw the car I was in love. even though at that time it had been sitting un-started for 6 months and needed a little TLC, despite all that it started right up like a brand new car and drove almost like one too. (A quick tune up and oil change took out the almost) As soon as the weather allowed it I started work on giving it all of the love it needed, after a full detailing, steam cleaning of wheels/engine, paint polishing, new set of bumper fillers and some other various additions/repairs, it was gorgeous. The cotillion white paint and saddle color leather interior looked almost flawless, my pride and joy was and is here to stay. I have taken it to a few car shows and it gets its fare share of first place trophies, I get compliments all the time on the car's appearance and several people have given me some very attractive offers on it. It has a very majestic look to it and wherever its parked it stands out as if to say "I am the Godfather, kiss my ring." This is by far the most comfortable car I have ever been it! Seriously, it’s even the most comfortable Cadillac I've owned, and trust me I've had a few. And yes the 4.1 liter V8 Cadillac V8 is not a race car, but come now, did you really think I'd buy a big body Coupe Deville to race? As far as reliability goes I haven't had a problem yet, just don't try to pull any "fast and furious" type stuff and it won't blow up (or whatever people say they will do). Oh and did I mention that I get 20-25 miles to the gallon? All in all this car has the most class, style, and luxury that I think any American car in the past fifty years has had, and I would not give it up for anything. Solid. Pretty inexpensive overall. Faults: Headliner sagged. General Comments: This car is fun and fairly unique these days; not too many of them are still around. I met two people who had the same car so far and each one had over 200000 miles on theirs and raved about what a great car it was. This car has character. It's comfortable like a living room. I love that insurance on a 23 year old car is really inexpensive. I love the blue fabric interior. I had the headliner redone and the interior looks almost like new. Where can I buy a new car with a blue fabric interior? What car would I buy that I wouldn't yell if my kid jumped around in it and put his dirty feet here and there? For normal driving, I don't find the car underpowered. I put 70 series tires on it and it corners quite nicely. And it glides down the highway. The car is quite sound overall and it feels like it wants to run. I don't think the cost of repairs comes close to adding up to what the payments and insurance on a new car would be. And everybody has a new car that looks a lot like every other one. I put my baby seat in the middle of the back seat and there's still plenty of room on either side for my wife to sit. She's from Russia. I call the Caddy our American Volga (that's their higher end car in Russia). Before I got this car, I didn't really know how good a caddy could be. But now, I would actually consider buying a new one sometime. Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Faults: Stalls once in a while, probably related to the throttle position sensor problem. Any other problems have been routine in nature. General Comments: Good passing power. Handles very well for a car of its size and weight. Gas mileage isn't fantastic, but it's not as bad as you would think. The interior is like a living room, greatest road trip car ever. Of all the cars I have driven, this remains my favorite. Nothing beats an old Cadillac. Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Before I bought it the stock am/FM/CB radio stopped working, so I replaced it with a Kenwood CD player which sounds great. Other than that the car is in great shape. General Comments: I bought / traded the car January 10th 2005 at a local used car lot for my father’s Chevy S10 & $225. I knew the second I saw the car I was in love. even though at that time it had been sitting un-started for 6 months and needed a little TLC, despite all that it started right up like a brand new car and drove almost like one too. (A quick tune up and oil change took out the almost) As soon as the weather allowed it I started work on giving it all of the love it needed, after a full detailing, steam cleaning of wheels/engine, paint polishing, new set of bumper fillers and some other various additions/repairs, it was gorgeous. The cotillion white paint and saddle color leather interior looked almost flawless, my pride and joy was and is here to stay. I have taken it to a few car shows and it gets its fare share of first place trophies, I get compliments all the time on the car's appearance and several people have given me some very attractive offers on it. It has a very majestic look to it and wherever its parked it stands out as if to say "I am the Godfather, kiss my ring." This is by far the most comfortable car I have ever been it! Seriously, it’s even the most comfortable Cadillac I've owned, and trust me I've had a few. And yes the 4.1 liter V8 Cadillac V8 is not a race car, but come now, did you really think I'd buy a big body Coupe Deville to race? As far as reliability goes I haven't had a problem yet, just don't try to pull any "fast and furious" type stuff and it won't blow up (or whatever people say they will do). Oh and did I mention that I get 20-25 miles to the gallon? All in all this car has the most class, style, and luxury that I think any American car in the past fifty years has had, and I would not give it up for anything. BUT IT STILL LOOKS GREAT THE WAY IT IS. I DO HOPE TO DETAIL HER BEFORE SHE GOES TO A NEW HOME L. THE VINYL TOP LOOKS GREAT. THE ORIGINAL WIRE WHEELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO VISIBLE RUST, STILL HAVING ALL 4 CENTER RINGS. ALL GLASS APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL, IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND VERY CLEAR, WITH NO CRACKS, HOLES, ETC. ALL CHROME SHINES VERY NICELY. THE BUMPER RUBBER LOOKS LIKE NEW. THE HEADLINER SAGS IN SOME AREAS BUT IT’S NOT THAT BAD, A RATHER COMMON PROBLEM WITH OLDER CARS. THIS ONE SEEMS LIKE AN EASY FIX. IT’S STILL NICE & CLEAN AND DOESN’T SEEM TO NEED TO BE REPLACED. BUMBERS NEED SOME FILLER. THERE’S SOME “RIPPLING” ON THE LEFT REAR (NOT FROM RUST, AS THERE IS NONE, NOT EVEN BUBBLING). ACCORDING TO THE AUTOCHECK, THERE WERE NO ACCIDENTS. PERHAPS IT WAS CAUSED BY A MINOR FENDER BENDER BECAUSE IT’S NOT REALLY A DENT (AGAIN, PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY). ALSO, THERE’S A SMALL PIECE OF METAL MISSING ON THE LEFT REAR THAT’S SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. I’M NOT TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING, BUT JUST WANT TO GIVE AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION. THESE ISSUES I MENTIONED ARE NOT THAT NOTICABLE FROM A FEW FEET BUT CAN BE SEEN UP CLOSE. INTERIOR LEATHER INTERIOR ALSO LOOKS VERY GOOD. THE DRIVER’S SEAT SHOWS SOME WEAR ON THE TOP LEFT SIDE. BUT THERE ARE NO TEARS OR HOLES ON IT (PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS). THE WEAR ON THE DRIVER’S SEAT APPEARS TO BE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BACK OF THE SEAT. PASSENGER & REAR SEATS ARE EXCELLENT SHOWING VIRTUALLY NO WEAR. CAR COULD EASILY FIT SIX AVERAGE SIZED ADULT (WITH THE FRONT AND REAR MIDDLE ARM RESTS UP). THERE IS A BIT OF DISCOLORATION ON SOME OF THE PLASTIC PARTS LIKE THE PART WHERE THE SEAT BELT GOES THROUGH AND KEEPS IT IN PLACE. THE INTERIOR IS VERY ROOMY AND AIRY. INCLUDING THE DRIVER’S & PASSENGER SIDES. THE BACK SEATS LOOK LIKE THEY’VE NEVER BEEN SAT IN AND FEELS LIKE BEING IN A LIMO! EVERY WHO RIDES WITH ME, WANTS TO SIT IN THE BACK! ALL CARPETTING IS NICE, PLUSH, AND CLEAN. ALL POWER ACCESSORIES – POWER WINDOWS, POWER DOOR LOCKS, DUEL POWER SEATS, INTERIOR POWER TRUNK RELEASE, POWER TRUNK CLOSE, CRUISE CONTROL, ADJUSTABLE SENTINAL HEAD LAMPS, TILT WHEEL, ETC. FUNCTION AS THEY SHOULD. THE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL APPEARS TO WORK WELL WITH LED DISPLAYING INSIDE TEMPERTURE THAT CAN BE SET TO A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE. OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE CAN BE DISPLAYED AS WELL. THE DASHBOARD LED MILEAGE RANGE, INSTANT MPG, & AVERAGE MPG INDICATORS WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THIS CAR IS MOSTLY ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING 4 PREMIUM CADILLAC LOGO CARPETED FLOOR MATS. ALL FOUR MUD GUARDS LOOK ORIGINAL AS WELL BEING THAT THEY MATCH IN COLOR AND ARE PROPERLY & SECURELY INSTALLED. ALL EMBLEMS, HOOD ORNAMENTS, TRUNK KEY COVER ARE THERE & IN VERY GOOD CONITION. NOT ORIGINAL IS A NEW DIEHARD BATTERY AND PERHAPS THE TIRES WHICH ARE THE CORRECT WIDE WHITE WALLS (EXCEPT FOR ONE) FOR THIS MODEL & YEAR. THEY APPEAR TO HAVE ABOUT 75% TREAD LEFT (SEE PHOTOS). Solid. Pretty inexpensive overall. Faults: Headliner sagged. General Comments: This car is fun and fairly unique these days; not too many of them are still around. I met two people who had the same car so far and each one had over 200000 miles on theirs and raved about what a great car it was. This car has character. It's comfortable like a living room. I love that insurance on a 23 year old car is really inexpensive. I love the blue fabric interior. I had the headliner redone and the interior looks almost like new. Where can I buy a new car with a blue fabric interior? What car would I buy that I wouldn't yell if my kid jumped around in it and put his dirty feet here and there? For normal driving, I don't find the car underpowered. I put 70 series tires on it and it corners quite nicely. And it glides down the highway. The car is quite sound overall and it feels like it wants to run. I don't think the cost of repairs comes close to adding up to what the payments and insurance on a new car would be. And everybody has a new car that looks a lot like every other one. I put my baby seat in the middle of the back seat and there's still plenty of room on either side for my wife to sit. She's from Russia. I call the Caddy our American Volga (that's their higher end car in Russia). Before I got this car, I didn't really know how good a caddy could be.
