Vehicle Detail
!968 Ford Mustang, started out as a 302 car and has since been converted to a 428 with 2 - 4 barrels. ENGINE- 1969 block and heads for a 1969 Mustang Cobra Jet engine. Rebuilt in 2005, has since had under 2000 miles put on the car. Was dynoed back 2008 at over 580 horsepower. Has recently been tuned up and is ready to go. Needs a new battery which I will provide. Engine has a cobra dress up kit for the value covers and the dual carbs. Transmission- TKO Tremac 5 speed Rear End- 9 inch Ford with a 3:89 posi-traction Tires- Excellent with less than 2000 miles on them, has American Racing Wheels all the way around. 16 inch rims in the front and 17 inch wheels in the back. Interior- headliner- perfect and new, seats- perfect and new, the whole interior is new with only one flaw, I updated all the instrutmentaion and have not had time to get the glue of the new cover I installed over the heater controls. The instrutmentaion panel has over a $1000.00 cost for the new gauges and the stainless bezel kit that is installed. The heater is the only thing in the interior that does not work Paint- Is Dupont Candy Apple Red, I am a perfectionist and would rate it a 8 on a scale of 1-10. Most would rate it a 10. No rust anywhere on the body, the car was solid when we had it painted so you do not have to worry about 3 years later bondo cracking and rust showing through. No warranty implied or ortherwise, will ship it in any where as long as you pay the shipping. Last 2 Mustangs we sold went to a gentleman in Sweden. $2000.00 due within 24 hours of auction ending through Paypal, balance in cash, certified check is ok as long as it has cleared my bank, car will not be released until then. Will not trade for anything, I am selling this car for my son, he goes to college next year and it needs a good home. He does not have to sell it so I will not entertain riduclous offers at all. Best of luck and whoever wins gets a quality car.
