My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. Each description is unique and contains information specific to the vehicle being sold. Ad administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2003 Ford Expedition XLT. This vehicle was purchased new by the State of Pennsylvania and used as a State Park Patrol vehicle until it was retired from duty. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a service vehicle of this age and mileage. It would be considered BELOW AVERAGE if compared to your typical Expedition. It is finished in standard dark green as most of the State Park vehicles are. The paint is generally dull. There are scratches basically everywhere as you'd expect to find on a vehicle like this. None of them look really deep. If you had the time and desire, you could probably compound most of them out and end up with a nice looking paint job. There are some chips on the tail gate. It has the standard issue steel wheels wrapped in a nice set of tires with deep tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Overall, not bad for what it is. I would rate the interior of this Expedition to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of a vehicle of this type. Being an XLT trim, this truck is optioned with power windows, locks and mirrors as well as an AM/FM CD player and remote entry. The floor is standard rubber which is easy to clean and holds up well. The door panels are clean and tight. The seats show well for their age and mileage. The dash and headliner are clean and show well. The audio system works properly and sounds good. The climate control system is also in proper working condition. I've had this vehicle for a while as I've been using it on and off for projects/towing/ect. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. This truck comes with multiple keys and two remotes. The cargo area is big and also rubber lined for durability. Mechanically, this Expedition is in fair condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I have not seen any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes will need serviced immediately (new pads and rotors all around probably). The truck does stop but the brakes are worn heavily. Out on the road, this truck drives pretty well. It goes straight down the road with no complaints. I've driven this truck quite a bit for transporting large objects and towing. I'm not sure but I believe there is a problem in the center differential. If you turn very tightly or acccellerate hard it will "pop" a little. Also, the 4WD does not engage. I haven't had it looked at but the center diff is what those two problems have in common. The engine keeps proper operating temperature and good oil pressure at all times. It tows well and drives well. I've put several hundred miles on this vehicle myself. Put a few bucks into it and you'd have a pretty nice work truck/SUV. The miles are good and it has been maintained by the State of PA since new. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. Each description is unique and contains information specific to the vehicle being sold. Ad administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2003 Ford Expedition XLT. This vehicle was purchased new by the State of Pennsylvania and used as a State Park Patrol vehicle until it was retired from duty. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a service vehicle of this age and mileage. It would be considered BELOW AVERAGE if compared to your typical Expedition. It is finished in standard dark green as most of the State Park vehicles are. The paint is generally dull. There are scratches basically everywhere as you'd expect to find on a vehicle like this. None of them look really deep. If you had the time and desire, you could probably compound most of them out and end up with a nice looking paint job. There are some chips on the tail gate. It has the standard issue steel wheels wrapped in a nice set of tires with deep tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Overall, not bad for what it is.
I would rate the interior of this Expedition to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of a vehicle of this type. Being an XLT trim, this truck is optioned with power windows, locks and mirrors as well as an AM/FM CD player and remote entry. The floor is standard rubber which is easy to clean and holds up well. The door panels are clean and tight. The seats show well for their age and mileage. The dash and headliner are clean and show well. The audio system works properly and sounds good. The climate control system is also in proper working condition. I've had this vehicle for a while as I've been using it on and off for projects/towing/ect. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. This truck comes with multiple keys and two remotes. The cargo area is big and also rubber lined for durability.
Mechanically, this Expedition is in fair condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I have not seen any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes will need serviced immediately (new pads and rotors all around probably). The truck does stop but the brakes are worn heavily. Out on the road, this truck drives pretty well. It goes straight down the road with no complaints. I've driven this truck quite a bit for transporting large objects and towing. I'm not sure but I believe there is a problem in the center differential. If you turn very tightly or acccellerate hard it will "pop" a little. Also, the 4WD does not engage. I haven't had it looked at but the center diff is what those two problems have in common. The engine keeps proper operating temperature and good oil pressure at all times. It tows well and drives well. I've put several hundred miles on this vehicle myself. Put a few bucks into it and you'd have a pretty nice work truck/SUV. The miles are good and it has been maintained by the State of PA since new. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
