My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. I sell mostly new car trades from larger franchise dealerships directly to the public "as-traded". Each description is unique and contains information specific to the vehicle being sold. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fairly rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. The 5.9 Limited is a special edition made for the final year of this body style. However, it is much more than simply a Grand Cherokee with a big motor. There are some visual differences between the 5.9L and the regular Grand Cherokee Limited. The most obvious and widely known are the functional heat extracting louvers on the hood. The grille has a mesh honeycomb design. The narrow spoke alloy wheels are also specific to the 5.9L edition. The roof rack has a lower profile than standard. The body cladding is also unique to the 5.9L edition. The most famous difference is the 360ci V8 which produces 245hp/345tq. The most important features are the less obvious. The 5.9L has a heavier transmission and transfer case than the regular Grand Cherokee's. It also has a heavier traction-loc axle. Interior upgrades are also quite numerous. The calf grain leather interior is superior to the traditional leather. In addition to higher quality leather, the 5.9L has leather door inserts, leather arm rest and leather shifter handles versus the plastic of the regular Grand Cherokee Limited's. The stereo is upgraded with a rear sound bar. There is a rear fold down arm rest. Finally, it has an electric fan and high output alternator. Jeep really got this one right. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in Deep Slate and the paint shines well. Of course, there will be some small scratches and scuffs here and there from daily use but nothing horrible. The heat extracting louvers are faded which is common. The doors close straight as they should. Please review each of the photos carefully. Overall, this is a great looking truck. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of tires with nice tread all around. There is a towing hitch at the rear. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Jeep shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The headliner is tight and the dash is clean. The calf grain leather seats show well and are comfortable as you would expect. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors all appear to be in good working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system. This Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with a full set of manuals, one key, one remote and the original $38,000 window sticker from new. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 360ci Magnum V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I believe the muffler is disconnected...but present. It sounds good but will probably need reconnected to pass inspection. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty tight. The steering feels good for an older Jeep. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There have been no warning lights on. Out on the road, this Jeep has good manners. The engine makes great power and is actualy a blast to drive. Accelleration is strong for an SUV. This Jeep tested with a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds when it was new, making it the fastest production SUV available. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. Gear noise is minimal and everything works as it should. She drives nice and strait with no complaints. This Jeep Grand Cherokee has a good PA safety and emissions inspection through summer of this year. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. I sell mostly new car trades from larger franchise dealerships directly to the public "as-traded". Each description is unique and contains information specific to the vehicle being sold. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fairly rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. The 5.9 Limited is a special edition made for the final year of this body style. However, it is much more than simply a Grand Cherokee with a big motor. There are some visual differences between the 5.9L and the regular Grand Cherokee Limited. The most obvious and widely known are the functional heat extracting louvers on the hood. The grille has a mesh honeycomb design. The narrow spoke alloy wheels are also specific to the 5.9L edition. The roof rack has a lower profile than standard. The body cladding is also unique to the 5.9L edition. The most famous difference is the 360ci V8 which produces 245hp/345tq. The most important features are the less obvious. The 5.9L has a heavier transmission and transfer case than the regular Grand Cherokee's. It also has a heavier traction-loc axle. Interior upgrades are also quite numerous. The calf grain leather interior is superior to the traditional leather. In addition to higher quality leather, the 5.9L has leather door inserts, leather arm rest and leather shifter handles versus the plastic of the regular Grand Cherokee Limited's. The stereo is upgraded with a rear sound bar. There is a rear fold down arm rest. Finally, it has an electric fan and high output alternator. Jeep really got this one right.
I would rate the exterior of this Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in Deep Slate and the paint shines well. Of course, there will be some small scratches and scuffs here and there from daily use but nothing horrible. The heat extracting louvers are faded which is common. The doors close straight as they should. Please review each of the photos carefully. Overall, this is a great looking truck. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of tires with nice tread all around. There is a towing hitch at the rear.
I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Jeep shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The headliner is tight and the dash is clean. The calf grain leather seats show well and are comfortable as you would expect. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors all appear to be in good working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system. This Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with a full set of manuals, one key, one remote and the original $38,000 window sticker from new.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 360ci Magnum V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I believe the muffler is disconnected...but present. It sounds good but will probably need reconnected to pass inspection. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty tight. The steering feels good for an older Jeep. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There have been no warning lights on. Out on the road, this Jeep has good manners. The engine makes great power and is actualy a blast to drive. Accelleration is strong for an SUV. This Jeep tested with a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds when it was new, making it the fastest production SUV available. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. Gear noise is minimal and everything works as it should. She drives nice and strait with no complaints. This Jeep Grand Cherokee has a good PA safety and emissions inspection through summer of this year. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
