My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Most of what I sell are new car trades from local franchise dealerships. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. Each description is unique and written specifically for the vehicle being sold. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Ford Windstar GL. This vehicle is a little different than most vehicles I sell. I purchased this vehicle at auction in the fall of 2011 as a fresh trade from a larger premium retailer in Lancaster County, PA. My wife was planning a trip to the beach for her and a few friends and she wanted something with a little more room for the trip. I let her take this van...and she never gave it back. Recently, she decided that she wanted to go back to a car so now I finally get to sell this van. It has been driven by my wife for the last year and a half and is titled in my name personally. It has treated us well. I would rate the exterior of this Windstar to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a pretty clean van. The paint is a little faded but shows well. The only rust I am aware of is a tiny bit of surface rust at the left rear wheel opening. There is a small spot on the top of the left fender that has been touched up. This van has optional alloy wheels which look good. The tires show average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Overall, this is a good looking older van. I would also rate the interior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this van is also clean on the inside. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from normal use but are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats are clean and comfortable throughout the interior. This van has front and rear heating and air conditioning. The climate control system works properly, front and rear. The air conditioning blows cold. The power windows, locks and mirrors work properly. The rear tilt out windows are also power operated. The factory remote entry is also working properly. The audio system is the original premium sound which performs well. The original books and manuals are included. The cargo area is clean, spacious and has the original factory rubber floor liner. The interior is very adaptable. The middle row are captains chairs which are a great option and are removable and foldable. The rear bench slides, folds and can come out for additional cargo area. Mechanically, this van has treated us very well. In the year and a half we have used it, she has never given any trouble or left us stranded. The 3.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and there are no known leaks. There is an audible exhaust leak but it isn't too loud. It sounds like it is somewhere near the front...most likely the flange or flex pipe where the two sides join. There is a check engine light on which has been on for the last year. The DFPE needs replaced. It costs $50 and could be done in minutes. It acted up one day last winter. I google'd it and found that the easy fix was to unplug it...which I did. It was dark, cold and that fixed the problem in seconds...but causes a check engine light. Also, the ABS and Traction Contol lights come and go. This has been a constant thing. I believe one of the wheel speed sensors up front needs replaced. Otherwise, I don't have anything bad to say. The suspension feels good. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes feel good. She drives very well in any condition. The engine keeps good temperature and makes great power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts property. The transmission DOES NOT slip...never has. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and strait with no complaints. This van has treated us very well over the last year and a half. It has never left her sit anywhere, starts every morning and has not given us any trouble at all (aside from the aforementioned DFPE last winter). It's a little big for what she needs and wanted to go back to a car, otherwise it would not be for sale. It will have a fresh oil change for the next owner. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Winning bidders: Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Most of what I sell are new car trades from local franchise dealerships. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. Each description is unique and written specifically for the vehicle being sold. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Ford Windstar GL. This vehicle is a little different than most vehicles I sell. I purchased this vehicle at auction in the fall of 2011 as a fresh trade from a larger premium retailer in Lancaster County, PA. My wife was planning a trip to the beach for her and a few friends and she wanted something with a little more room for the trip. I let her take this van...and she never gave it back. Recently, she decided that she wanted to go back to a car so now I finally get to sell this van. It has been driven by my wife for the last year and a half and is titled in my name personally. It has treated us well. I would rate the exterior of this Windstar to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a pretty clean van. The paint is a little faded but shows well. The only rust I am aware of is a tiny bit of surface rust at the left rear wheel opening. There is a small spot on the top of the left fender that has been touched up. This van has optional alloy wheels which look good. The tires show average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Overall, this is a good looking older van.
I would also rate the interior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this van is also clean on the inside. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from normal use but are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats are clean and comfortable throughout the interior. This van has front and rear heating and air conditioning. The climate control system works properly, front and rear. The air conditioning blows cold. The power windows, locks and mirrors work properly. The rear tilt out windows are also power operated. The factory remote entry is also working properly. The audio system is the original premium sound which performs well. The original books and manuals are included. The cargo area is clean, spacious and has the original factory rubber floor liner. The interior is very adaptable. The middle row are captains chairs which are a great option and are removable and foldable. The rear bench slides, folds and can come out for additional cargo area.
Mechanically, this van has treated us very well. In the year and a half we have used it, she has never given any trouble or left us stranded. The 3.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and there are no known leaks. There is an audible exhaust leak but it isn't too loud. It sounds like it is somewhere near the front...most likely the flange or flex pipe where the two sides join. There is a check engine light on which has been on for the last year. The DFPE needs replaced. It costs $50 and could be done in minutes. It acted up one day last winter. I google'd it and found that the easy fix was to unplug it...which I did. It was dark, cold and that fixed the problem in seconds...but causes a check engine light. Also, the ABS and Traction Contol lights come and go. This has been a constant thing. I believe one of the wheel speed sensors up front needs replaced. Otherwise, I don't have anything bad to say. The suspension feels good. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes feel good. She drives very well in any condition. The engine keeps good temperature and makes great power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts property. The transmission DOES NOT slip...never has. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and strait with no complaints.
This van has treated us very well over the last year and a half. It has never left her sit anywhere, starts every morning and has not given us any trouble at all (aside from the aforementioned DFPE last winter). It's a little big for what she needs and wanted to go back to a car, otherwise it would not be for sale. It will have a fresh oil change for the next owner. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
