2003 Mercedes Benz SL500, Salvage Title. Car has 56,231 miles, Runs & Drives good. Check out Videos and the bottom. Driver side seat overheated and caught fire, Burnt drivers seat, small carpet area, and outside of driver door panel. No internal damage of drivers door, even the speaker still sounds great. Fire was put out with a dry chemical fire extinguisher, you can see the yellow powder in some of the pictures. Car needs carpet, drivers seat, drivers door panel, and plastic door sill. I found all of these parts on Ebay, Pair of seats $700, Used Grey Carpet $250, Drivers Door Panel $275, Door Sill $40 Motor sound very good, has lots of power, tranmission shifts smooth, this car handles great, tires are like new, brakes stop the car on a dime. Car needs a good interior cleaning and the above mentioned parts replaced, It will also need codes cleared from the cars computer. The lights, radio, Navigation, all currently work, however because of the burnt wire in the drivers seat, power has been cut from the power window, top, dash. These cars are not usually found as project cars, this one is a ez fix for a mechanic or MB shop. Car is For Sale Locally, so I reserve right to end auction and sell vehicle.
