Here it is folks, a Classic piece of Americana. A truck born out of Depression and War at a time when steel was in short supply and things were built for a purpose. This truck has survived the test of time and remains a real testament to AMERICAN cars/trucks from days gone by. This 1946 remains 100% original and the engine runs like a dream, it is a true survivor folks, this truck has never been abused and never used for anything other than its intended purpose, this much is very clear when you walk around looking at this beauty. Now we all know a truck of this age without prior restoration cant be absolutely perfect so let me list all that I know of that will need attention. Brake master cylinder (leaks so will need rebuilt or replaced) we can fill it and bleed the brakes so we know the brakes are all working but with a leaky master they don't work long. Original wiring is all pretty worn and likely needs replaced. Front tires are pretty weather checked, all 4 rears are like new. Truck has an original SUN VISOR with it, however its aluminum ears that attach it to the cab have been broken at some point so it would need work to be re-installed. 3 sides to the original stake bed are available however they are pretty rotten but most of the hardware on them is intact and they would provide an idea of what it was supposed to be like. At some point in the past someone welded diamond plate on top the flatbed, the wood underneath actually looks pretty good from the bottom but hard to say what its like under the steel.
