Reason for sale: Our family is growing and we are about to get a bigger car. Since we only have one parking space, decided to sell this car. This car has been our main driving car for the last 1-2 years. We have made numerous trips from LA to Mountain View without any problems in the past and have consistently recorded around 34 MPGs on the highway. The good: 1) Relatively low mileage ~110K and the title is CLEAN and we are the second owners 2) Very economical for a BMW (~25MPGs combined and 34 MPGs HWY) 3) Practical design. Due to the hatchback model it has lots of space - we were once able to transport a 52" HD Television in this car from Fry's 4) Manual transmission - once you get used to it, it is very fun to drive. Has NEW clutch (so don't have to worry about the transmission for a while)! 5) Reliable - We will not hesitate to drive this cross country, if need be 6) Has 6 CD changer 7) The power moonroof is working great 8) Engine is strong and never had a heating problem 9) Has Nitrogen (instead of air) on all the tires (incl. the backup) 10) Has the following new parts in the last 1 year- Clutch Front flex disc Battery Tensioner Thermostat 11) Passed the smog test recently The not so good - * The driver side window doesn't work * The airbag sign shows up in the dashboard. This was how it was when when we got the car * Even though the A/C works great, the heater is not very powerful * The remote entry key option is not working Note: We are based out of Burbank (near LA) but are visiting the Bay area this week and you can come visit the car in Mountain View/Sunnyvale. On Feb-03-13 at 23:07:29 PST, seller added the following information: Additional info:The front brake rotors were recently replaced. The tires are in decent condition.The A/C works well. When the heater is on, the motor blows air, but there is no heat.Considering the age, the cloth interior seats are decent without any rips.After passing the smog test, we have already submitted the payment to the DMV.
