Vehicle Detail
Beautiful 1983 Porsche 911 SC, original Guards Red paint with black leather interior, rear spoiler, newer Targa top and gaskets, recent brakes and tires, approx. 135K miles, 3.0 liter, 5-speed, fuel injected, A/C, cruise control. Looks, runs and drives great, rust free, no accidents. Former Arizona car, garaged, complete service by Porsche dealer a year and a half ago when I purchased the car and I have service records back to March 1986. There are some minor cosmetic flaws, the driver’s seat has a tear in the seat back, the front dash has a crack, and there are several little paint chips along the front bumper and some on the hood (the previous owner used a leather bra on the car which covers and protects this area and will be included) otherwise the overall condition of the paint is very good. A/C may need a recharge as I haven't used it. This is a nice very original car with great investment potential. Only selling due to loss of my job. More pictures are available upon request. Please contact me with any and all questions prior to bidding. Update: Due to the large amount of interest, emails and offers, I decided to save us all time and put the price where I am willing to sell the Porsche on a Buy it Now. In the past two years, the Targa top and seals were replaced and the heater blower motor was replaced. This car had a complete service in August 2011 at approx. 134,500 miles including a check up on the brakes and clutch. I don’t know of any repairs that are needed at this time. During my pre-buy inspection I was told the car appears to be accident free and have original paint as stated by the previous owner. I do not have Fuchs wheels and was told the Porsche wheels were a BBS upgrade. All information is provided to the best of my knowledge and is not a guarantee since I am not an expert or a car dealer. I encourage you to view the Porsche in person or arrange for a vehicle inspection prior to the end of the auction (this will be at your expense if you hire someone to perform the inspection) as the final sale is ‘as is’ due to circumstances beyond my control once the vehicle changes ownership. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect the Porsche before auction close, you or an agent will have three working days to inspect the vehicle after the close of the auction. I reserve the right to cancel the auction early as the Porsche is also being advertised locally. If you want a call back please email your phone number and I can answer specific questions. Thank you for considering this Porsche.
