I personally test drive each vehicle and give my first hand opinion of the vehicle's drivability, condition, and style. Please keep in mind, I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. I would rate the interior of this Cavalier to be in average condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The seats are comfortable and show well for the age. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets an headliner look good. The dash and instrument panel are clean and free of cracks. The stereo system is the original and comes with the CD option and works to the best of my knowledge. The heater works well and the fan works on all positions. The original owner’s manual is in the glove box. I would rate the midnight blue exterior of this Cavalier to be in fair condition for age and mileage of car. As you can see in the pictures, the car has a lot of the small blemishes that accumulate form age and normal use. There is oxidation on the roof, hood and trunk, which is common on Chevys of this age. This vehicle has some visable rust on the exterior, especially the door bottoms. There is also a small crack on the right front fender. The trunk does not open from the exterior; you can access it from the inside by folding down the seat. The trunk is wired closed, it appears the latch has been damaged. The tires are a matching set of Coopers and have decent tread, the fronts are a bit more worn than the rear. There is a full set of matcing Chevy hubcaps. Mechanically, this Cavalier appears to be in very good running and driving condition. I have personally put quite a few miles on this car and enjoyed driving it. The 2.2L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any obvious leaks and the engine does not smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly. The temp holds steady and there are no check engine lights. She is a perfect car to get you from point A to B, and gets great gas mileage. It feels like the rear brakes will probably need to be replaced soon. There is an ABS light on as well. The suspension feels tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. She cruises nice and straight on the highway with no complaints. This Caviler is PA State inspected until August 2013 !!!! All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as it was traded, unless otherwise noted in the written description. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
