I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. I want you to know exactly what you are buying so you can bid with confidence.Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 2001 Dodge Durango 4x4 SUV. This rugged, truck based SUV shares a platform and drivetrain with the Dodge Dakota pickup. It has the same 4.7L V8 engine and capable four wheel drive. Please read the entire description on this vehicle as it is not in perfect condition. It currently runs and drives, but it appears to be in need of some repair. The 4.7L V8 engine in this Durango fires up quickly and quietly. It produces good power and gets better fuel economy than the older Dodge V8s. Oil pressure, voltage, and temp all hold well. The four wheel drive engages with the turn of a dial. The steering is neutral and the suspension soaks up bumps well. The brakes stop strong. The transmission on this SUV is acting up. It shifts smoothly between gears, but it does not go into overdrive. The ‘trans temp’ warning will come on when the trans is clearly not overheating. I test drove it in 20 degree weather and the ‘trans temp’ warning popped on within the first 3 miles, long before the engine had even started to warm up. I am not a mechanic, but it would seem to me that this is some sort of bad sensor or possibly computer issue. The white exterior of this Durango is in decent shape. The paint is not peeling, nor are there any large dents. The previous owner apparently wasn’t a big fan of washing the car, so it could benefit from a bit of soap and elbow grease to make the white paint shine again. There is a heavy looking brush guard on the front of the truck. It appears to be solidly mounted. All of the lights and glass are in good condition except for a crack in the upper corner of the windshield. The full set of factory alloy wheels look good. They are wrapped in SUV radials. The tread is a bit to worn for going off-roading, but they are not bald. This Dodge’s interior is in average condition for the age. There is some of the expected dirt and wear, but no holes. All of the seats are comfortable. There is a bit of a musty odor; I think a good cleaning should take care of it. This Durango has the optional 3rd row seating. The seats of the 2nd row flip forward for easy access to the back seats. If you want more cargo space, the 2nd and 3rd row seats fold flat to allow you to put large items in the back. The driver’s seat is power adjustable. The windows, locks, and mirrors all work with the press of a button. This Durango is equipped with a remote lock, but the clicker does not work properly. The heater works well and the temperature is separately controllable for the driver and passenger. The fan works in all positions, but it only has two speeds: high and off. The rear seats have their own set of heater and fan controls (also controllable by the driver). The stereo sounds decent. This Dodge has a PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March 2013. If you are looking for a vehicle that you can buy and immediately drive cross-country in, this is probably not the vehicle for you. On the other hand, if you have some mechanical know-how or a friend that does and you are willing to put some work into fixing it, you can get a lot of vehicle for not a lot of money. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Thanks for looking at my auction. I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage.

Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 2001 Dodge Durango 4x4 SUV. This rugged, truck based SUV shares a platform and drivetrain with the Dodge Dakota pickup. It has the same 4.7L V8 engine and capable four wheel drive. Please read the entire description on this vehicle as it is not in perfect condition. It currently runs and drives, but it appears to be in need of some repair.
The 4.7L V8 engine in this Durango fires up quickly and quietly. It produces good power and gets better fuel economy than the older Dodge V8s. Oil pressure, voltage, and temp all hold well. The four wheel drive engages with the turn of a dial. The steering is neutral and the suspension soaks up bumps well. The brakes stop strong.
The transmission on this SUV is acting up. It shifts smoothly between gears, but it does not go into overdrive. The ‘trans temp’ warning will come on when the trans is clearly not overheating. I test drove it in 20 degree weather and the ‘trans temp’ warning popped on within the first 3 miles, long before the engine had even started to warm up. I am not a mechanic, but it would seem to me that this is some sort of bad sensor or possibly computer issue.
The white exterior of this Durango is in decent shape. The paint is not peeling, nor are there any large dents. The previous owner apparently wasn’t a big fan of washing the car, so it could benefit from a bit of soap and elbow grease to make the white paint shine again. There is a heavy looking brush guard on the front of the truck. It appears to be solidly mounted. All of the lights and glass are in good condition except for a crack in the upper corner of the windshield. The full set of factory alloy wheels look good. They are wrapped in SUV radials. The tread is a bit to worn for going off-roading, but they are not bald.
This Dodge’s interior is in average condition for the age. There is some of the expected dirt and wear, but no holes. All of the seats are comfortable. There is a bit of a musty odor; I think a good cleaning should take care of it. This Durango has the optional 3rd row seating. The seats of the 2nd row flip forward for easy access to the back seats. If you want more cargo space, the 2nd and 3rd row seats fold flat to allow you to put large items in the back. The driver’s seat is power adjustable. The windows, locks, and mirrors all work with the press of a button. This Durango is equipped with a remote lock, but the clicker does not work properly. The heater works well and the temperature is separately controllable for the driver and passenger. The fan works in all positions, but it only has two speeds: high and off. The rear seats have their own set of heater and fan controls (also controllable by the driver). The stereo sounds decent.
This Dodge has a PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March 2013.
If you are looking for a vehicle that you can buy and immediately drive cross-country in, this is probably not the vehicle for you. On the other hand, if you have some mechanical know-how or a friend that does and you are willing to put some work into fixing it, you can get a lot of vehicle for not a lot of money. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
