I am selling my 1975 1 ton 4x4 service truck. This truck was an airoport fire station service truck, there for it was always parked in a hanger and never exposed to the elements. This truck has 47,000 miles and looks to be in new condishion. There is no/zero rust on this truck anywhere, the cab corners look as they did new, the windshield frame is perfect as new, these are a common problem areas on the International trucks. There are no dents or dings on the cab at all, the paint is orginal with the yellow over sprayed at a later time. This is a very honest truck as it has not been repainted so you can see how stright and rust free the truck really is. The pick up doors open and close like new and all the windows work nicely as do the locks. We have also installed new wipers, they work as new also. I was using the truck at our local airport as my service truck also, we not using it any longer so it is for sale. The truck has a 392 V8 that holds great oil pressure, uses no oil, is quite, and runs very smoothly down the road (this truck has 4:88 gears) road speed is limited to 60mph, but it will tow a house. I also installed a new exhaust system, with truck mufflers that exit out the rear.. The truck has a T-19 4spd transmission, this is a close ratio good shifting transmission with no goofy gear splits. We installed a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing with in the last few months. This truck has an NP205 transfercase that shifts smoothly and was just serviced with synthetic gear oil. For the rear alxe it has an RA-15 heavy dual rear wheel axle, it was also just serviced and works good. Front axle is the Dana 70 HD that was also just been serviced and works very good. The truck goes, and stops straight, very good manors on the highway. This truck has six new tires, and we just had it in my shop doing a complete tune up and fluid change. Everything from the dome light to the AM radio works, this is a true low mile survivor, there are no leaks and the four wheel drive works as new. The service box has no dints or holes in it, doors open and close good, and all lock with a common key. It has a nine foot long bed with very heavy step tread metal on the interior. This is a very clean 1 ton 4x4 that is very hard to find in the 4x4 version and everything is well maintained and works good.
