Vehicle Detail
dt1 The Bike is located in Sachse Texas...North Dallas. I am thinning out my collection of bikes and decided to let this one go. I have always liked having this bike and enjoyed the story behind it. The women I got it from years ago said that it was her dads. He used it at his cabin in the woods. It was not used much at all and he kept it in great shape. He gave it to her years later for her kids to learn on. She started the bike and was going to show her kids how to ride it. She did the "whiskey throttle" and it fell over. She turned it off and would not allow anyone to ride it! It was at her lake house on lake worth, Texas for many years before I bought it. Look at the cool original 1972 license plate. He must of had it titled at some point. Bill Of Sale Only....no Title He put a horn on it!(see pictures). Really like the horn buttom Her Dad made the very nice box on the back out of galvanized metal w/ an alumium door. What I like the best is he did not alter the bike other than to bend the tail light tab up(see pictures). The bottom is bolted to the rear fender in the same hole as the bracket would have attached to. If you wanted to put it back original, all you would need to do is buy a tail light bracket.(60 dollars on ebay) The bike is very original and a blast to ride. It appears it was never messed with. When I replaced the points it looked all original inside. The nut still had the white paint on the nut and bolt across them. The correct "8" bolts are all over the bike. Still has original tool kit under the seat! Seat pan looks great. original buddy pegs The rims look great and original The headlight bucket has some paint missing(see picture) The bike starts right up and runs very well. The Tank looks good. It does have some scratches and a couple dings. Front and rear brakes work great. Chrome looks very good Tires are Nitto's and still have plenty of tread All cables appear to be original grey cables. grips look great. Handle Bars fold up and down(They still work!) The Blue Metalic Paint is original and looks very good. It does have scratches and rubs marks as would be expected for a 44 year old bike I *believe* the motor is original to the bike. Vin: Z50A-164505 Engine: Z50AE-164533 Seat looks great and I think it is original. It has two very small cuts on the back The handle bars in very good condition and straight. Right is bent a tiny bit. Fenders look great! Bike is like the suzuki trail hopper, Yamaha JT1 JT2 Bike is sold with a Bill Of Sale ... No Title.
