This stunning 1971 Oldsmobile convertible was born in Lansing, Michigan and sold new for a total of $5,756.13 from Collins Oldsmobile in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is an original rust free fully documented car to take on the build to commemorate the extremely rare 1971 W30 Convertible. With less than 110 ever made, this was the perfect platform to start with. With all its original paperwork including: build sheet, broadcast sheet, protector plate and books. This super low, 33,000 mile documented, excellent condition Oldsmobile has its ORIGINAL 455, all matching numbers drive train and motor original to this car. Then a no expense spared nut and bolt restoration, taking many months, with more money spent than will ever be able to get back was completed less than 400 miles ago. What we finished with was a STUNNING 442 W30 re-creation with ALL the correct OEM/NOS parts. For the massive ORIGINAL 455 engine we added its aluminum correct W30 manifold and other parts exclusive to the W30 motors. We also added it's correct Red inner liner plastic light weight fenders, correct OEM W25 air induction fiberglass hood as well as correct OEM Badges and striping. Re-sprayed in its original bright white and black stripes over it's accident and rust free body. Loaded with all the goodies, such as a 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, an anti-spin-axle, HD performance 3.73 rear axle, rare A/C, correct OEM original wheels, AM/FM Stereo with rare and WORKING 8 track tape player, tic/toc clock and RPM gauge, power steering, hood locks, Rallye Pac, sport console, sport mirrors, soft top boot cover, courtesy light package, sport mirrors, trumpet tip exhaust, Strato bucket seats that are still in their original as well as the rest of the interior "superior" condition! It is truly a joy to drive. Powerful, straight and sounds great. EVERYTHING works on this car...even the key left in buzzer as well as all lights, top, trunk and courtesy lights, radio, A/C.
