This is a nice example of the highly desirable 944 Turbo , still touted as one of the best balanced sports cars ever manufactured . It is a 1988 , black exterior on a nice and crisp black leather interior. Overall this is a pretty clean example for the year and mileage . I have over 20K in receipts!! and have spent thousands in just the last two years. Have just done the major services { new timing belt,balance shaft belt,all new front motor seals.water pump.starter. distributor cap/tune up , flushed intercooler.ETC ETC. The point is I have put probably half my asking price in maintenance in just the last year or so. That plus upgraded 17" Porsche alloy wheels off a newer 911 model means at 5K , this car is a bargain! This car is running the best it ever has since I bought it in 1998. My mechanic is a master 944 specialist and has this car absolutely humming!! I am the third owner and have thousands in records and receipts. This car has not been abused nor spared expenses. NEVER MODIFIED other than K and N filter, cross drilled rotors , 17 " factory Porsche alloys and Kenwood stereo w. CD changer. The main thing this car could use is some cosmetic improvement in certain selected areas. Overall the paint looks very good except on the nose piece,which has rock chips. There is a dent in the driver door which loosened the molding.{see picture} The dent could possibly be pulled out and the molding is off the door but I have it intact. There is a bad scratched section on the diver side front fender. And there is a plastic bumper piece from the rear which can be easily removed and re -sprayed. AC needs recharged and a pressure switch. The interior is pretty darn crisp .no faded stuff, and everything feels tight . Even the dash does not have the normal bad cracks you see on these cars. It has begun to crack a little in a couple spots, but overall looks good. The windshield sprayers need blown out, I think they are clogged. Bottom line: car drives amazing and could use basic cosmetic improvements{ new coat of paint in certain areas ,some dings and few scratches here and there} , but overall very solid, no leaks. drives like a bandit . Very fair for the price.
