My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an in house service facility or technicians on staff. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description. We sell mostly new car trades from larger dealerships. All units are sold "as-traded". Each description is unique and will have information specific to the vehicle being sold that potential bidders will need to know before bidding. Also, please read the terms & conditions section as there is important payment and pick up information there. If there is anything you're unclear about, please ask BEFORE bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 GMC Suburban 2500 SLT. I would rate the exterior of this Suburban to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this unit. When I got this truck, it was white but the paint was badly chipping as is common with older GM vehicles. One day when I had nothing to do, I decided that it would be way cooler if it were camouflage. Well, $50 worth of spray paint and an afternoon later...the Suburban was transformed into the "murderwagon". This thing is an absolute blast to drive. On the good side, the body is pretty good. There was no major rust on the body. I saw a little on the bottom of the doors but nothing bad like most of these get. The paint job is obviously ameteur...but still better than what it was when I got it. I cleared it so it wouldn't wash off or get all messed up in the rain. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The rear bumper is pretty rusty. It has a nice set of tires with deep rubber all the way around. I have a 5 and 6 year old. They thought this was the coolest thing in the world. They'd rather ride around in this than any car in my warehouse...and I have some cool stuff. I would rate the interior of this Suburban to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehilce. There is no getting around the mileage on this unit and the fact that nobody buys a Suburban unless they need all the room so these tend to get used pretty hard. In spite of this, the interior isn't terrible. The door panels aren't perfect but are still tight. The carpets show a few stains but aren't excessively worn. This truck sports a full set of factory rubber floor mats. The leather seats aren't perfect either but are, again, in better shape than most with significantly less miles. This Suburban still has its full set of seats. The dash is pretty clean and so is the headliner. This Suburban has front and rear heat/air. It's a little cold for the a/c but the heater works great...front and rear. The stereo sounds great and shows no signs of abuse. Mechanically, this Suburban appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 6.5L Detroit Diesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It appears to be completely stock still. Cold starts are no problem. This truck does have a block heater but I've never had to use it...even with over night temperatures in the 20's. It starts quickly and does not smoke. The engine idles smoothly. I didn't see any leaks. Her road manners are excellent for an older truck. In fact, I used the "murderwagon" to take my kids to the beach over their Christmas break with absolutely no problems. I have personally driven this Suburban more than 1,500 miles. The suspension is tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes pulsate a little but stop this truck with no problems. The engine keeps a good temperature. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The engine makes good power and runs smoothly whether cruising or under load. I've used this truck to tow with no problems. Out on the highway, she cruises very well. I get 20mpg highway. For mixed driving, my average has been 15mpg. The turbo spools quickly. The only bad thing I have to say about this truck is that I think one of the auto hubs is bad. I had to push another truck up a snowy hill a few weeks ago and it would not go into 4WD. The display showed I was engaged so everything appears to be working in the transfer case. Not to worry, this beast pushed the other vehicle up the hill in 2WD!!! I would drive this truck anywhere without a second thought. On a side note, this Suburban had a sticker on the left barn door that said "bio-diesel". I've not run anything but disesl through it but it may be able to run other alternative fuel, too. I'm no expert on diesel...let alone alternative fuel so I just run diesel to be safe. Messages left on the office voicemail may take several days to get to the right person or get lost. Winning bidders: Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an in house service facility or technicians on staff. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description. We sell mostly new car trades from larger dealerships. All units are sold "as-traded". Each description is unique and will have information specific to the vehicle being sold that potential bidders will need to know before bidding. Also, please read the terms & conditions section as there is important payment and pick up information there. If there is anything you're unclear about, please ask BEFORE bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 GMC Suburban 2500 SLT. I would rate the exterior of this Suburban to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this unit. When I got this truck, it was white but the paint was badly chipping as is common with older GM vehicles. One day when I had nothing to do, I decided that it would be way cooler if it were camouflage. Well, $50 worth of spray paint and an afternoon later...the Suburban was transformed into the "murderwagon". This thing is an absolute blast to drive. On the good side, the body is pretty good. There was no major rust on the body. I saw a little on the bottom of the doors but nothing bad like most of these get. The paint job is obviously ameteur...but still better than what it was when I got it. I cleared it so it wouldn't wash off or get all messed up in the rain. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The rear bumper is pretty rusty. It has a nice set of tires with deep rubber all the way around. I have a 5 and 6 year old. They thought this was the coolest thing in the world. They'd rather ride around in this than any car in my warehouse...and I have some cool stuff.
I would rate the interior of this Suburban to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehilce. There is no getting around the mileage on this unit and the fact that nobody buys a Suburban unless they need all the room so these tend to get used pretty hard. In spite of this, the interior isn't terrible. The door panels aren't perfect but are still tight. The carpets show a few stains but aren't excessively worn. This truck sports a full set of factory rubber floor mats. The leather seats aren't perfect either but are, again, in better shape than most with significantly less miles. This Suburban still has its full set of seats. The dash is pretty clean and so is the headliner. This Suburban has front and rear heat/air. It's a little cold for the a/c but the heater works great...front and rear. The stereo sounds great and shows no signs of abuse.
Mechanically, this Suburban appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 6.5L Detroit Diesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It appears to be completely stock still. Cold starts are no problem. This truck does have a block heater but I've never had to use it...even with over night temperatures in the 20's. It starts quickly and does not smoke. The engine idles smoothly. I didn't see any leaks. Her road manners are excellent for an older truck. In fact, I used the "murderwagon" to take my kids to the beach over their Christmas break with absolutely no problems. I have personally driven this Suburban more than 1,500 miles. The suspension is tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes pulsate a little but stop this truck with no problems. The engine keeps a good temperature. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The engine makes good power and runs smoothly whether cruising or under load. I've used this truck to tow with no problems. Out on the highway, she cruises very well. I get 20mpg highway. For mixed driving, my average has been 15mpg. The turbo spools quickly. The only bad thing I have to say about this truck is that I think one of the auto hubs is bad. I had to push another truck up a snowy hill a few weeks ago and it would not go into 4WD. The display showed I was engaged so everything appears to be working in the transfer case. Not to worry, this beast pushed the other vehicle up the hill in 2WD!!! I would drive this truck anywhere without a second thought. On a side note, this Suburban had a sticker on the left barn door that said "bio-diesel". I've not run anything but disesl through it but it may be able to run other alternative fuel, too. I'm no expert on diesel...let alone alternative fuel so I just run diesel to be safe. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
