This is a Fabulous 1951 MG TD in excellent condition and extremely drivable. There are no rust problems and the body and frame are both very solid. No signs of accident repair or damage. The burgundy paint is not new but is still very bright and shiny. There are lots of very small paint chips here and there and a few small touch ups but generally the car looks fantastic. The chrome is all very presentable with some minor pitting. The chrome plating on the radiator shell is worn through in spots but still looks good. It has stock steel wheels with Nankang 165 R15 tyres all in great condition and a good spare. The windscreen has a chip in it but since these are flat they are very inexpensive to replace. The Interior is also in extremely nice condition. The tan leather seat is excellent. Door panels are nice. carpets are good. The wood dash has some cracks but still looks very good. It has a very nice wood and aluminum aftermarket steering wheel. The Instruments all work except the clock and the tachometer is a bit sticky and jumpy. Mechanically this MG is also excellent. I've driven many of these over the years and this is one of the nicer driving examples I've seen. The engine starts easy hot or cold and sounds great with good oil pressure. It's in very good tune and has plenty of power. It has a fairly new stainless exhaust with a great British sporty tone. The clutch works great although it is a bit abrupt to release and takes just a bit of getting used to. The 4 speed gearbox works perfect and shifts nicely through all gears. This is a vintage British car so I can't say there are no oil leaks but there are no excessive leaks. The cooling system works perfect. The 12v electrics all work great and it has aftermarket turn signals that do work. The brakes work great with no problems at all. The steering and suspension are excellent. The soft top is in great condition and it has a full set of all four removable side curtains all in great shape with very clear plastic windows. It comes with a clear title and the T series handbook full of history and information on the MG T series cars. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and arrangements.
