1985 Honda 250r

1985 honda 250r three wheeler this atv is in good condition. it has a few issues that need attention, and the machine is an excellent project for restoration. the motor is stock bore and there are no problems with the (6-speed) transmission. there is a homemade chainguard on the front sprocket. the most common problem with 250r atvs are broken/ missing front sprocket guards. owners generally assume the guard is optional, it isnt. without a guard, a broken engine case is just a matter of time. rear carrier (axle) bearings are going to be needed, in the near future. small cracks in original oem honda plastic has been stitch-repaired (see photos). original honda seat has a tear. the stock toolbox is missing. i purchased this atv at the 'white star snowmobile auction' coldwater, michigan, aproximately 2 years ago. it was verified by serial number by branch county (MI) sheriffs dept. they do this to ensure buyers and sellers against the possibilities of stolen property and bank liens. all items must pass the checkpoint. the atv has been ridden little since then, and has mostly sat in my garage. the entire atv is stock honda to the best of my knowledge except the rear tires, silencer, handgrips, and front brake resevoir guard. anything not mentioned in this ad should be considered stock and in good working order. this atv runs excellent. no trades/ partial trades. this atv is for adult, experienced riders. it is extremely powerful and fast. if you do not have experience with modern, high performance dirtbikes, snowmobiles, atvs, etc. i do not recommend this atv for you. all questions will be answered in a timely manner.
