The engine makes an angry noise which seems to be external and coming from the top end. It starts, runs and drives currently but may stop doing any one of those things at any time without warning. The oil is clean. The coolant is clean. The noise could be a cam bearing...I have no idea. It has alloy wheels and decent tires. I've not driven it except for around the shop and parking lot. I cannot confirm that it goes faster than 10mph. If you know engines, this could be an easy fix. The 1.6L was a commonly used engine so parts should be readily available at junk yards, ect. The light weight of these cars made them popular race cars back in the day. In theory, this car should get ridiculously good fuel economy. Other potential uses for this car include, but are not limited to: 1) A sweet fort for your kids 2) Attach wings to it and pretend you're a huge bug 3) An obstacle in a monster truck course 4) A road block Although this vehicle does run and drive, there is the distinct possibility that this vehice may break very soon.
