1995 Roush Mustang "1st Roush Stage III produced" "OLD BLUE was sent back to Roush Racing in Charlotte ,NC &100% restored to "AS NEW" Exterior: Roush Racing Blue Interior:Two Tone Black with inserts Serial Number:1FALP42T0SF157220 Mileage:160,029 (on the frame and sheet metal) IMPORTANT: This car was acquired by the V.P. of Roush Racing and shipped to the Roush factory in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was completely disassembled and remanufactured to "AS NEW" specifications. This car was hand signed by Jack Roush. Every component in the engine, clutch and transmission is new. The list is endless....New exhaust, brakes, suspension, interior, carpeting, ect. When completed, the V.P. of racing shipped the car to his home in California. He drove it approx. 25,000 miles and we acquired the car from him. All the tires are NEW! It is important to note that ONLY FOUR Stage III Roush Mustangs were ever made in 1995 and this is the first one. This car was used in many shows to promote the Roush brand and was shown to Ford dealerships all over the U.S. Just imagine if you could own the very 1st Shelby ever made? Or the very 1st Saleen ever made? Or the very 1st Ferrari? Well here is your once in a lifetime opportunity to own the 1st Roush Mustang produced. REMEMBER...THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE NUMBER ONE AND THIS IS IT! IF YOU HAVE A CAR OR CARS TO TRADE, PLEASE CALL ME BEFORE BIDDING AT 954-873-6495......THANK YOU. The entire car is simply spectacular....The paint, body, interior, trunk, engine compartment are all in show condition. When the car arrived via enclosed carrier at the Museum it had approx. 30 miles less indicated on the odometer. We drove it 30 miles to see if we could find anything wrong with the car...IT RUNS PERFECT and every option works as it should. If we told you this car had less than 1000 miles on it...you would believe it....not just from it's AS NEW cosmetic appearance....but due to the way it drives and handles. It has the full Body kit from Roush, The special Jack Roush Interior, the Special Brakes, Roush Wheels, Custom Exhaust, MSD Electronics, and Custom Roush Induction which adds 47 Horsepower and the Roush tool kit. I have shown in the auction photos a copy of one of the many articles that have been written about "Old Blue" It will be included with the sale. Old Blue has proudly been on display what we believe to be the finest Mustang Museum in the world. It is Millers Mustang Barn Museum and is owned by Mr. Jack Miller. The Museum is in Jupiter,Florida...it is a PRIVATE MUSEUM so please call in advance to make an appointment to see and inspect this car. This car is priced $1000's of dollars under the purchase price....we don't play games.....please call me at 954-873-6495 and I will be happy to share the reserve price with you....PLEASE......DO NOT E-MAIL me for this information. If you prefer us to call you, then please e-mail me your phone number at luvdg@aol.com. This car is the best buy you will ever find in a Mustang that has incredible history and provenance and it is very, very reasonably priced to sell on Ebay! We have been buying, trading, selling and collecting vintage and collectible cars since 1962. Twenty First Century Auctions has been selling fine vintage and collectible cars on EBAYMOTORS since March of 2000 and we have a 100% feedback rating. Even in this very tough economic times where real estate has tumbled down a very steep hill....vintage cars...the real ones...the pedigreed cars in great restored or near perfect original condition continue to hold value and in most instances appreciate. Why not have fun with your money? ...enjoy your life and know that when you wake up in the morning your dollars are still safe in your garage or warehouse and haven't evaporated into thin air . I was privileged to be close friends with the late Jerry J. Moore from Houston, Texas. Jerry was a Real Estate Mogul and one of the largest owners of shopping centers in the world. Jerry was also an avid car collector and amassed one of the largest and best vintage car collections on the Planet. If Jerry told me once....he probably told me over 100 times......"In case you forgot...remember..."You will never see a Brinks truck at a funeral service or a Hearse with a luggage rack at a cemetery!" Car collecting is a family thing...everyone around the world admires and loves these great vintage and collectible cars. We have sold cars from Australia to Alaska...From China to Saudia Arabia.....From Manhattan to Moscow....and the hobby keeps growing & expanding all the time. Collector car insurance is dirt cheap...about $250-$300 a year for a $75,000-$1000,000 car...full coverage! You do have to keep it in a garage and limit your miles to 2500 a year...other wise you might have to pay a little more. I always try and look for major flaws and mention them and try to point them out when I see something. Your welcome to come in person to the Museum...hire anyone you like to come on your behalf....bring your magnets and magnifying glasses....we will put it up on one our lifts inside the Museum....see if you can find anything worth mentioning...we tried and couldn't find anything other than we stated...maybe you can? We have tried diligently to find any MAJOR flaws in the paint, body, interior, mechanical or electrical systems and have not been able to locate anything that we could list as a MAJOR problem in the description or that we haven't already mentioned. I truly believe there is no such thing as a "PERFECT" old car and we ARE NOT making such a claim.....but this car is very close to being perfect. We are urging you to PLEASE come and inspect the car in person, drive it or to hire an expert inspector to do this for you. AGAIN....Please do not ask us to recommend anyone....we want you to select & hire your own inspector. If you wish to schedule an appointment to see this car, please call me at 954-873-6495....I need at least a one-two day notice . . This car will be back in the air conditioned storage vault at the fantastic Miller Auto Museum in Jupiter,FL. The Museum is private, and is not open to the public and is only open to a few special events throughout the year.Inspection days (with a prior appointment) are Monday thru Saturday) NO SUNDAYS OR HOLIDAYS PLEASE) All cars are owned free and clear and we have the title on hand. After you speak with us on the phone, it is possible to have a scanned or faxed copy sent directly to you. We know this is a Platinum investment collectable car....it is foolish to invest your hard earned dollars in clones and fakes....this is a car that you can still drive & enjoy and will increase in value...not decrease in value.....and if you chose to...you could drive it every day. Please don't buy a Museum quality car like this unless you have a garage to store it inside. We do not think this car has ever been left outside. You can look at this car in bright outdoor sunlight or indoors under halogen or florescent light...it still looks flawless...but don't take our word...PLEASE...come and check it out yourself. We don't "play games" We love when a car is inspected prior to meeting the reserve. We have no secrets and are proud of our 100% feedback rating...we have been selling great cars like this for more than 10 years on Ebaymotors.com. Please...do not e-mail us and ask "What is your reserve" just call us and we can discuss money...the car...a trade...or whatever is on your mind. Instead call me at 954-873-6495 ....even if your calling from Australia,Europe or Japan. We will not e-mail you the reserve but will discuss it with you on the phone! We are all car guys that are very easy to speak with...no Prima Donnas at this end...just car lovers that do this for the fun and passion of loving our hobby...for the past 50 years! We really do love the cars...a lot more than the $. Here is an article on this car: Jack Roush is the kind of guy who stands above the crowd. He’s a larger than life legend who has earned his stripes as a motorsports superstar and today is the Chairman of the Board of ROUSH Enterprises, an international corporation that employs nearly 2,000 people. His corporate empire includes ROUSH Racing, ROUSH Industries, ROUSH Performance Engineering and ROUSH Manufacturing. Clearly Jack Roush is a man passionate about high performance automobiles.Roush’s success didn’t come overnight. After leaving Ford Motor Company in 1969, Roush spent his time between engine building, drag racing and teaching. In 1976 he formed Jack Roush Performance engineering where he focused his attention on engine development and motorsports racing. Then in 1988, ROUSH Racing was launched. His racing division would later go on to win titles in all three NASCAR divisions. In 1988, Roush approached Ford to market his 400 horsepower twin turbo Mustang through their dealerships. And while Ford was enthusiastic about the product, they decided his cars would be too expensive. While disappointed, Roush continued to develop performance vehicles that eventually led up to the 1995 ROUSH Mustang. Its roots began with one component, a high performance dual-plane intake manifold developed by Jack. His goal was to sell the manifold through Ford Racing. Ford wasn’t particularly interested as they had already made the decision to replace the aging 5.0-liter V8 with an overhead cam 4.6-liter V8. Having invested nearly $500,000 in its design, Jack began looking at ways to get a return on his investment. In a series of meetings, it was determined to put together a “kit of parts” that Ford dealers could install on a Mustang GT. But as luck would have it, the dealers passed on the idea. As a result, Roush opened up several installment centers throughout the nation to assemble the components. The ROUSH Mustang was available in three stages. Stage 1 vehicles included 17-inch ROUSH wheels, special side rocker skirts, rear deck lid wing and front spoiler. For those who questioned the heritage of the car , a quarter-window decal package cleared things up. Inside, a ROUSH logo package decorated the front seats. The finishing touches were a ROUSH Dash medallion and ROUSH embroidered floor mats. Buyers could also tack on performance side exhausts and rear valance. For those wanting more than just visuals, the Stage 2 ROUSH Mustang added a handling package. The Stage 2 received everything in Stage 1 plus a pinion snubber, rear anti-roll bar, special front and rear springs and Koni adjustable struts all around. Both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Mustangs were powered by Ford’s 5.0-liter V8 rated at 215 horsepower. If visuals and handling weren’t enough, the Stage 3 was available. The package started out as a Stage 2, then tacked on a 65mm throttle body, custom three-piece ROUSH dual plenum intake assembly, high flow air filter and special fuel rail. A custom designed cowl induction hood covered all of the niceties. Dyno tests proved an additional 47 horsepower with the additions. Optional CNC ported cast iron heads or aluminum heads could be ordered for added horsepower. The exact number of 1995 ROUSH Mustangs is unknown but believed to be just a few hundred. Only four Stage 3 ROUSH Mustangs were produced according to Ed Wayland, a key member of the ROUSH team in 1995. “Old Blue,” owned by Terry Karges, is one of those four.Fuel For ThoughtJack Roush started ROUSH Performance Products in 1995Optional GT40 aluminum heads received larger Manley 1.94-inch intake valvesStage 2 Mustangs received 30mm front and 27 mm rear sway barsStage 3 Mustang with GT40 aluminum heads retailed for $5,278SpecificationsNumber built – exact amount unknownConstruction – UnibodyEngine – 302 cubic-inch V8Power/Torque – 215 horsepower/285 lb-ft torque (Stage 1), 262 horsepower/torque N/A (Stage 3 with stock heads)Transmission – five-speed manual, four-speed automaticSuspension front – modified MacPherson struts with lower A-arms, coil springs and anti-rollbarSuspension rear – live axle with angled upper and lower trailing arms, coil springs and anti-rollbarSteering – rack & pinionBrakes – four-wheel discLength/width/height – 181.5/71.8/53.1 inchesWheelbase – 101.3 inchesWeight – 3,280 lbs. shipping weight0-60mph/quarter-mile – 6.7 seconds, 15.1 seconds at 92.8 mph (Motor Trend, August 1994)Top speed – N/AMPG – 15-22 mpg EPA est.Price – $ 20,688 (GT coupe price $17,905 plus $2,783 for stage 3);Today – With only four 1995 Stage 3 ROUSH Mustangs known to exist, we’d price this as “Very” collectible.Insurance CostInsurance cost is $250 for a 1995 Ford Mustang GT valued at $9,175. This is based on 3,000 miles per year of pleasure driving.*Based on a quote from Heacock Classic Car Insurancewww.heacockclassic.comEngineThe ROUSH Stage 3 engine added 47 horsepower to the mix giving lightening fast performance. While the 5.0-liter V8 was at the end of its lifecycle, it proved to be reliable and dependable. Its biggest flaw was limited breathing capability that would be corrected with ROUSH CNC ported heads.HandlingThe Stage 1 ROUSH handled like a stock Mustang GT but adding the Stage 2 suspension pieces turned it into a rocket like roller skate staying flat even in high speed turns.
