Video Review of Truck:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1kqWPpjejY&feature=youtu.beNO TRADES. I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER VEHICLE. I NEED THE CASH.Hello buyers,I just moved from Illinois and it is time to sell my truck that I have had since 2005. The truck is now in Durham, NC, it still has Illinois plates. I purchased the truck as a pulling truck for my mowing service It towed a 6x12 trailer and a lawn mower. I got it with 79,xxx miles on it and have put every mile on it until its current mileage. It was also a daily driver during that time up until 2010. From 2010 to 2012 I used it strictly to pull my mowing trailer and do work stuff on the weekends. In July 2012 I used to move my stuff down here and it drove 800 miles here and 800 miles back no sweat. On January 1, 2013, I drove my girlfriends stuff down here pulling the trailer, again 800 miles, no sweat. From July 30th, 2012 to December 24, 2012, it sat in a garage in Illinois. During my ownership, I have repaired ANYTHING that has come up that affects truck longevity and functionality, as I could not have this vehicle go down. I was never stuck in mud, snow, or slopes of any kind because of the kickass 4x4 on it, usually pulling out all my friends from ditches, etc, with the 4x4Here are the stats:V8 5.2L 318160,xxx miles4x4 Sport ModelExtended CabCruise ControlPower Windows, LocksSliding Rear windowTool Box on BackTowing PackageFlat 4 light hookup (new in July 2012)Done under warranty from Extended Warranty I purchased at 89,000 to 115,000 miles:Timing chain and water pump done, Coolant replaced at this time as well!Transmission was serviced at about 120,xxx miles- Flushed and Filter ChangedHeater Core replaced on truckPower Steering PumpSteering Gear Box (These get old in high mileage vehicles, results in wheel turning but the steering doesn't react.)Regular Repairs:Tune-up done with about 5,000 miles ago with new plugs and wires.Serpentine belt done about 15,000 miles ago, not sure. No cracks in it now!AC Compressor Replaced and AC Charged.Upper and Lower Ball Joints have been doneTruck goes straight on the road, no alignment needed- pretty sureExtra Goodies:It will come with a full tank of gas and a K&N Air Filter recharge kit for the K&N air filter it has.It also has a remote start on it. I may have it taken off though. It has custom decals on the bed and mud flaps that have been sandblasted, painted, and decals put on to match the bed decals.I had installed an aftermarket 3 inch exhaust from the catalytic converter back. It has a magnaflow muffler that makes it sound pretty good.I have also installed an aftermarket ALPINE head unit to replace the head unit; I still have the stock head unit. Also there is a Memphis Audio Sub and an Alpine Amp. The Amp is underneath the back seat, the sub is in an angle box. I can take these out if requested. The toolbox on it that is lockable.Aftermarket headlights with glowing LEDsCondition of Truck Items:Tires have great tread on them, at least 50% and are very quiet on the highway. The rims are in pretty good shape overall.Serpentine belt has no cracks in it.Some issues:-Exhaust has slight leak right where Y pipes meet up. Mechanic told me I need to replace the Y pipe because the hole is at an angle that is impossible to weld. I just drove with it for last 15,xxx miles or so because it doesn't bother me. It makes a ticking sound when the engine is under load pulling something or accelerating. If you fix it, the truck will sound AWESOME. Right now it sounds pretty good. See video.-Cosmetic: This truck's paint had an issue with what is called "delamination" where the clear coat dissolves and the base coat flakes off to the black primer. This started on the hood and roof which I have spray painted semi gloss black a number of years ago. The bed is starting to do it, but this thing is a work truck, it's a beast. See video.-Brakes squeak. I think it's the drums in the back, but when you brake slightly, it's not a high pitches squeak but it sounds more like airbrakes. Could just need pads and drums in the back. Happens when the brakes get wet. Plan on replacing the brake pads in the back, just didn't do them because the drums don't help much with stopping.-Rust: Illinois rust from the very shalty roads up there. This resulted in a small hole rusting in the wheel well in bed on driver side. Rust is also on cab rocker panels and very bottom of doors, but nothing too hideous. This also goes for the rear bumper with surface rust and the font bumper and fenders. Please see the video i try to point this out! Keep in mind that the undercarriage and frame will have surface rust, but it is just that. It does not permeate the metal as much as the body because the metal on the frame and undercarriage is much thicker. The rust underneath does not affect the structural integrity of it. If you are still concerned, feel free to take to a mechanic or come and use the crawler and jack that I have at my house. I'm just trying to be transparent and helpful here!-When you fill up with gas, there is slight dripping from the filling neck. Most spilled from a fill-up makes a small puddle under the gas lid on the ground, it does not leak except when filling tank. Never cared to fix. The neck is made of metal and the hole is a result of the rusting. Its not a big deal.-Passenger front seat has a bolt that snapped off that bolts it to truck. Other three bolts are fine.-Glove compartment handle broke. I installed a zip tie work around.-Possible rattling speaker on passenger door: Sometimes it rattles if you are jamming out too hard. I just turn the bass down on the speakers and turn the sub up. -Back a few years ago, I installed a new aftermarket bumper. I forgot to put the two side bumper braces on, the braces and bolts are in the bed of the truck. This is why the rust on the bumper isnt deep because I merely didn't paint the bumper good enough. So you just need to install these bumper braces, the bumper is attached via front bolts only.I know it seems like a long list, but I'm being really honest here because I don't want to waste anyone's time and try to sell my truck like it's in super excellent condition. It is priced to reflect the work (mainly cosmetic) that needs done.It also has mud flairs that give it a more rugged look.I'm more than happy to let you know about any repairs that have been done. I am also more than happy to have you look at the truck and take it for a spin to see how easy the 4x4 turns on and off. Clean clear Illinois Title.
