Vehicle Detail

1971 Volvo 1800 for your consideration. I am a long time Volvo owner, VCOA member and BrickBoard contributor. I found this car covered in dust, after 10 years of dry storage. Three years later, it was finally mine. Rescued! The Professor purchased the car in 1991 and drove it until 2000, body work and paint were completed, then health issues caused it to be stored. A thorough revitalization was begun. Every inch of this car was cleaned, adjusted, repaired, replaced or upgraded. Reconditioned from top to bottom, tuneup items, all fluids / filters, the list is long and thorough. Flagship B20 4 cyl engine with upgraded Weber 32/36 Carburetor Conversion. Manual 4 speed, shifts crisp, finds all gears, no synchro issues. Over Drive, works beautifully. Exhaust is tight with a nice, slightly throaty sound. Interior is complete and in great condition. Steers straight, Zero driving vibrations. New Tie-rods. Turns on a dime. Brand new 165/80/15 tires, with original Clover Wheels. Shocks good all around. No rust in the towers. New brake calipers, and Stainless Steel brake Lines, new synthetic fluid. Electrical- all lights, gauges, ignition, etc. everything works as it should, except clock. Booster Assisted 4 Disk Brakes and High Back Seats with 3 point seat belts. Safety First. My car is ready for a 500 mile road trip today. It needs nothing; only a forever home. Please ask questions or come by to have a look. Send me your contact. Thanks for bidding!
